I am confused with Solinco Tour Bite vs Hyper-G vs Diamond Rough, would anything share their experience of them in terms of spin and feel and tension retention? Durablity is less of a factor for me.
tourbite soft becomes kind of hot during hot summer.... launch angle seem to be too high in hot summer time... why is that ?I've only used tourbite and hyper g. Both have similar spin and tension retention. However, tourbite has slightly more spin and tension retention from my experiences. Hyper g is slightly softer and more muted tho.
I had the same thoughts, it's much better when you hybrid it with yonex poly tour pro in the crossestourbite soft becomes kind of hot during hot summer.... launch angle seem to be too high in hot summer time... why is that ?
do you think regular Tourbite is better in the summer time ?I had the same thoughts, it's much better when you hybrid it with yonex poly tour pro in the crosses
Much better. Holds tension way better than the soft version.do you think regular Tourbite is better in the summer time ?

I felt like the Yptp gave me added depth controlI tried Tour Bite Soft once in the heat and will echo this. Everything was going long.
i used tour bite 17 and hyper G 17 in my 2017 PS97s at 48#
i cut out the hyperG after playing 2 times because i thought it was way too mushy
other people suggested to up the tension, so i will try it again at 52# when i wear out
the TB17.
comparatively, the TB17 feels stiffer and livelier, but i havent given up on the hyperG yet
i will also try Solinco Revolution which is supposedly stiffer than HyperG but softer than TB17
i was told that hyperG was more powerful, but i thought it played about the same as the TB17
but had less "feel" and was more muted "to me that meant mushy"
i think the TB17 will last me 2 months, so i can let you know at the beginning of June which would be 2 months
in my racquets
i havent tried diamond rough in these racquets so i dont have any feedback
i have tried luxilon alu power fluro 17 in my 2017 PS97s, and the TB17 seems stiffer and has more feel to me than
the lux alupower, which i thought played very well
not sure, but i am probably going to convert over to the TB17 for cost considerations, as the TB17 is much less
and gives me virtually the same performance
i still have lux in my older 2015 PS97s which seem softer, but play just as well as the 2017 PS97s

How about hybriding them both and try to get the best of both?Have been switching between Hyper G and Diamond Rough. Both great strings. HG gives me more feel and pop especially on serve. DR gives me a tad more top spin and control. Whenever I play with one, I sort of miss the other! . Anyway, both very good strings
