You can hit a good ball but it wont last very long. You're very sloppy and footwork is lacking. You need to keep you feet moving and split step. If you move those feet than you'll play much better

Your forehand looks awkward, and you look like you just try and kill the ball without constructing the point, first. But, it's hard to really tell much without seeing some actual match play.

My forehand used to look similar to that about a year ago, using a full western trying to get ridiculous topspin. Then I realized that I couldn't get it good enough to be effective against the kids I was playing with. Changed my grip to a semi-western, closer to eastern then western actually. Helped me a lot, I would suggest the same for you. I'm no expert, but your shot itself looks atrocious, but with some reconstruction could probably get a lot better. Just my opinion though.

Geez, some of you guys are just mean for no reason. Here's an idea: instead of "you suck!" how about, you really need to improve your racquet preperation, and a coach would be the best route.

As far as my thoughts go, you're swinging what appears to be awfully hard for extremely little ball speed. You're using solely your arm as the other less negative posters have stated. You need to incorporate your body into the stroke, and that starts first with clearing the balls off the court like shinobi said (honestly I do not understand how people can play like this and I see it all of the time) so that you can work on footwork and approaching effectively.

You have good coordination and your timing looks okay, but two things I noticed that would help you hit that much better.

First: You have zero backswing - windup like you're swinging a baseball bat. Step up towards the ball with your left foot, but try to connect with the ball more ahead of your body as your right foot hits the ground. Your losing control/power by having your left foot forward. You should approach a shot with your left foot, but at the moment of contact your right foot should be the most forward and your weight should be displaced to it just before contact.

If you watch closely with your videos, your doing the opposite of putting the weight on your right leg. Every time you swing, your right foot is coming up like a girl who's just been kissed :p Lol, not making fun of you, It's something I used to do when I laid the ball up in basketball. This is why I said you're quite coordinated because your hitting decent shots even though your footwork and weight displacement are off.

Lastly, you sorta have your free arm just hanging around, semi-pointing forward, but not sure you're making any concerted effort to use it to your advantage. As you're winding up that backswing, try reaching out for that incoming ball with your freehand and only move it as your forehand comes in to hit the ball. Kinda like when serving, your ball hand/free hand stays up/forward.. This also helps your shoulders not to drop before you hit the shot.

Make an effort to do the above things and I guarantee your shots will have more power and you'll hit the net less as a result. Also- work on LOCKING UP YOUR WRISTS! Pronate your wrists back to the point where it's almost not comfortable anymore and keep them their throughout your shot - your racket will twist less and will be able to absorb those higher balls your buddy keeps giving you there, lol.

P.s. Tell your buddy to hit some balls lower would ya! bloody pusher! lol
