Good muted poly that has control at low tension?

I find my preference to be muted polys, is there a good one, I hate the metallic pingy sounding polys.

I've got sets of

some I bought and never tried

volkl cyclone 17
tier one ghost wire 19
hyper g 17 and 19g
yonex pro poly tour 17
pros pro red devil, black force

ashaway kevlar
ashaway monogut zx

When you say muted poly, these come to mind. And all 3 of these have tons of control and great tension maintenance.
Luxilon 4G
Kirschbaum Max Power 16L
Solinco Hyper-G 16L

Cyclone is definitely NOT muted.
I've only hit ghost wire in a hybrid, but it seemed to be muted.
The thinner gauges of hyper-g are less muted than the thicker gauges.

Take a look at the reviews for the new Yonex Poly Tour REV. I'm part of the playtest, and while I haven't written my review yet, early results (which I agree with) are great control, and a muted feel.

It's been around a while, but I think the Signum Pro Poly Plasma is a soft, kind of muted feel, string with good control. I'd get the 1.28 version (just my opinion as I had trouble with the 1.23 breaking more easily).

PP Red Devil and Black Force as mentioned definitely fall into this category along with Isospeed Cream. All are plush, muted and offer good control.

-how low a tension are we talking??
-i find that stiff polys tend to be good options in the scary-LOW tensions
-40lb range is no longer considered low!!??!! not anymore
-20-30 is now considered low
-at this new low tension range, even luxilon-4G would feel amazing on most racquets
-i would even consider trying solinco.tourbite at 20lbs,,, and i hate that stuff!!

I've been in the sub 20lb category before. Just not enough control for my type of swing. I think high 30's or low 40's is about as low as I'll go now.

-ok, so in the "30's or low 40's" range, here are my toughts (based on your strings mentioned above)
-volkl cyclone 17, would provably be a good option, heard its on the stiffer side, so it should offer good control and feel comfortable/ish
-tier one ghost wire 19, IMO not a good option being soo thin, i owuld provably save this one for a 18/20 frame myself
-hyper g 17 and 19g , would provably feel as good as the cyclone, i would provably do a side/side test on with these 2 (cyclone/hyp-g) at the tension you choose,
-yonex pro poly tour 17, would provably feel the best at low tensions, (for me) in the initial stage of the hitting, (first week or so) but then as it loosens up it would be a bit too-soft/mushy (to keep a long time; 3 weeks,, etc,, not sure how long you keep your strings on a racquet)
-pros pro red devil, i find a bit too soft to venture into 30lbs with it, would become a trampoline too quickly to maintain good control,, IMO
-pros pro black force , is a good/GREAT option string to try a tension test with!! on any frame, good $ test (without wasting cash); while this is a slightly softer option than cyclone/hyp-g, it would narrow the tension options for me
