For realz.
Is red shirt D1 or the other guy?
Some truly atrocious tennis here, as well a some really good tennis. Lol, I think these guys should have had some more warm up serves or something. The guy in blue has a big serve! It seemed like they'd be better off hitting all old man style @Curious low slices cross court going for the angle.
Noted.. @Curious if you can serve like this guy in blue consistently (which i think you can on a good day) and from there hit some nasty low slices cross court and come in when they're gonna struggle... and return all the serves with a slice... I think you could build a really good game out of that.
Back home on the weekend.
Sorry, had a tight schedule. And you didn't even come visit, biach

According to UTR, I like my chances.
I just play Men's Open here because 35s are a joke.
Excited to play national 35s.
All of the above. I won't knock the guys cuz they obviously can play, and this just isn't a good showing of it methinks. But I was thinking @J011yroger needed a confidence boost to jump in. From what I have seen this is right in your wheel house. That said, national here in AZ is more like you would expect open tennis to be, with some very high level play all around. Still casual and such, but you'll need to be on your toes. Hope to see you here though. I'll buy ya a few beers...I mean, after you are done.
...why would I want to pay entry fees and drive all over to play 4.0/4.5 guys?
Sorry, had a tight schedule.

I thought about posting this video yesterday!Rec players should take note on the begining of these kidns of videos, just how easy they generate pace from simple position and contact point. Very relaxed and comfortable. And LOVE 4k video
You guys are both from Slovakia or Australia?
Im neither haha.
Where are you guys meeting each other??
LOL Rafa, 110% even in training. Man how hard is he hitting those forehands. Stan has bazookas on both wings too, but looks like he's not tryingThere was a bunch, but one I really love is this

Imagine facing Rafas forehand then Rafas slice. The spin differential between those two shots is just insane... so grooved... so purposeful. *_*
And shots look much slower on video than real life.
I really wonder how it would be like to play against those shots, if i could even hit back 1 out of 5.
Really liking the series of Japan High School Indoor tennis championship videos.
more videos of previous days' highlights by the same uploader
Is this the most loose forehand grip ever? Looks like hes BARELY holding the racquet, a tiny bit more and it would fall off.
Very interesting match from 2017. A good reminder that even at the pro level, some battles get ugly with a lot of hitting and serving errors, but you gotta just tough it out and end up on the right side of the score.
Where I come from we call that inconsistent 4.0 trying to reach the next level.

WOW,, this guy is goodYoan back on court with Simon from TTT. Worth a follow if you don't already.
Interesting for me, since I started playing tennis almost 10 years ago I have had all kinds of coaches and players telling that dropping the racquet on edge is bad and is from and incorrect rotation/flip. Really, over time I found that to be not exactly correct and Yoan is a good example for that having a racquet face down, back, clsoed, wutever is not a requirement, but more that the racquet does drop and the rotation happens to get the lag (see Delpo too).
Can take a video such as this into your editor and take a short section and play back in slo mo and save as new file? Just wondering. It kind of looks like a higher and bigger loop but same as Simon to me, but too fast to be sureYoan back on court with Simon from TTT. Worth a follow if you don't already.

For sure, and I have done that with all kinds of players. Much of it isn't shot in high frame rates so the slomo is a bit jerky, but decent for review and finding tips for technique. Can take a video such as this into your editor and take a short section and play back in slo mo and save as new file?
