Head Graphene 360+extreme pro, where is it?

I see it on some European sites, but can't find it on USA sellers including TW. Anyone know why it is not out? When it will be available?

It doesn't make any sense. It was the " pro " model of the line. Then a new edition comes out and is not available? So I am suppose to just switch to a different model? Not smart.

Head decided not to bring in the Pro to the US market with this update. You would have to ask them for the exact reason. The Pro model has gone in and out of the Extreme line for the last several generations.

Sorry I don't have better news,

Thank you for your response. I just will go back to APD, I guess. The tour model being introduced as a replacement? I'll tweet them about my disappointment. No more HEAD products for me. Their choice not mine.

Probably similar reasons to why Head did not bring Velocity MLT in colours other than black and natural to Europe.

You do realize that the 'MP' and the 'Pro' are essentially the same frame, except the 'Pro' weighs more, don't you?

If you look at the automated customization app (http://twu.tennis-warehouse.com/cgi-bin/customize.cgi) and plug in the existing specs (ala TW):

MeasurementWhat I HaveWhat I Want
Length27"
Weight319329
Balance33.4832.49
Swingweight328331

You'll see its fairly easy to get there. Either put 10g in the lower portion of the throat, or 9.3g near the butt cap and .7g at noon.

Think the pro has a tighter string spacing this time around though.

I think the new MP with leather grip and some more weight in the handle will make it perform even better. Is Pro’s spacing much tighter?

Apparently, the Pro has a tighter 16x19 pattern than the MP.

Strung and hit with mine last night. Definitely a tighter string pattern in the sweet spot. Same amount of spin and power just more stability and much easier on the arm.

Taking the MP and modifying it is not something I want to do. I like the extra weight of the pro, and customization's do work but buying a brand new frame and trying to duplicate a different frame in the line makes no sense to me. My original point was why have a " pro " model and the expect to buy a completely different frame by omitting that model and introducing the "tour." I'll demo new pure drive tour and APD tour, when a company does something like this I move on.

I have only hit with it for an hour so still processing. Seems to have the same power and spin with added stability and comfort. Feels slightly more head light than the previous version as I was able to find shorter angles when I whipped though it.

How are flat shots?

So, I am confused then why people (@koolpatrol )moving away from Head if this is something completely new and different from the past?
They must be talking about the MP, which is the same string pattern as the past. There’s no reason to move away from Head, since they actually took a big leap forward with the 360+ technology. And I’ve been one of their biggest critics.

The guy above says he's dropping head because they did not bring the PRO version to the US, however, this Pro version is apparently very different from the previous Pro versions (I am not familiar with the extreme lime of rackets beyond the Extreme Tour). I do not see the logic there...

region specific releases just pi++es people, especially if a racquet that you are deprived of isn´t a niche frame. so if they don´t sell me what i want, i don´t give them what they want (money). seems fair to me.
has nothing to do with head. if yonex wouldn´t release the ezone tour in europe i would be pi++ed too.

In that case you are driving...what??
Because all car brands have regional specific vehicles that you cannot get...
what about electronics? Are you mad at Samsung for not giving us the TVs koreans get??

it is pure business. If head believes that the Pro would not sell well here or their apparel will not do well, we go with what we have.

By the way, Yonex sells stuff we don’t get in Japan...

i doubt that racquets are subject to the same amount of regulations than cars.

good, than it should be okay if someone won´t do business with you in the future, no feelings got hurt.
No worries however, I still do not understand if new Pro is very different from the previous ones and not brought in to the US, what is preventing the user to try (and if necessary modify) the MP (that could be much closer to the previous Pro)?

Maybe they are in the same boat as me? I've been using the previous PRO moded with lead and silicone. But I am missing some control with it which the more closed pattern should help with on the new PRO. So I'm choosing to just order from EU. My only concern is that I am unable to demo the racquet before buying, which is something I would never recommend, but that is my only option at this point. If someone chooses to just walk away from the model, that's their choice.

I want the new and improved " pro " and it is not for sale in the USA. The PRO was the featured model 1 series ago and now they abandoned it and are offering a completely different model that is not at all based on the 2018 PRO. That's it, HEAD has no loyalty to the american customer who wants the updated version of that specific racket. Hence, why I was asking why it is not for sale yet.

Go get the Bab.
I am sure that Head looked a bit deeper into this before making decision. Especially since they are kicking a SS as of late.
maybe they want to push the Tour and later bring the Pro in (similar way they did with the Gravity Tour)
But to say Head has no loyalty to customers when they did everything customers asked for with the 360+ series is just a bit too much...

They didn't do everything the "pro" users wanted. Do you work for HEAD that you need to defend them? I wasn't looking for people who identify as protectors of the Head corporation. I just was hoping someone had news when it would be available.

I don’t work for head. I wish I did though.
however, if you want to switch to Bab because Head did not bring the version of the racket that has nothing in common (but the name) with previous versions, I’d say...go ahead...

Good point, I’m still wondering how to modify the 360+MP to get a tighter string pattern like the 360+Pro.

I've always wondered, where is the extra weight added on a racquet that has both a lighter and heavier version? On the Pro version, where do they add that extra weight at?

I loved going through this thread and seeing how pissy the OP was, knowing that the dr would come in sooner or later and **** him off even more :D

"Go with the Bab" :-D

Mine arrived yesterday. Ordered from TW europe. $468 USD for 2 rackets and a bag delivered.

How were you able to do this? I got the ol' "Due to manufacturer's restrictions, certain items in your cart are not available for export outside of the European Economic Area." message.
