I might get one for completeness' sake, but I wasn't terribly enamored with the last rerun of the PC600s that had thinner paint and hollower feel relative to the Classic Mid and hologram buttcap PC600s that TW carried prior to the black sticker buttcap reissue.

I fortunately would not have to rely on my memory of it. I quite liked the last batch of racquets. Weighed them up to the others I they have and played beautifully just as a Prestige Classic/Pt10 should. There's one in my bag right now. If it was not made in Austria but made in China I would still get only one to see if they taught their china OEM how to manufacture the Prestige Classic.

Not for me because of the 89,5 inch headsize

I would like a midplus version (98inch), then I would buy one or two

I have a solution for you: buy an I.Presige MP.

For the people who lives in South America, that's the only way to get a pro stock Prestige. It is hard to find, but when you find it, get one quickly!!!!

Try Mercado Livre/ Mercado Libre or other auction site.

I bought two i.Prestige MP in mint conditions on Mercado Livre (in Brazil) They cost US$50,00 each.

You have to be patient to find it.

How much premium will you pay?

up to $300 for a racquet for a nice Austrian made Prestige Classic or Prestige Pro - even better.

Considering some top sticks are say $220, that's an $80 premium. They would still make $$ I think

I would say their price point is going to be closer to the Head custom (if it would ever happen). They just raised the price on Finest Calfskin grips, so they are probably going to keep a close eye on how many people want to pay for premium products.

You're probably right. I did think about this. At $400 for a new one I would be looking to buy up mint oldies

With the Canadian dollar in the basement right now, we are looking at around $300 already for new Head graphene racquets. It's still better for me to search out old racquets at this point.

No offense to the OP and those wanting this to happen but... I work in an industry that makes carbon fiber components. Setting up a separate line to make these isn't trivial or cheap. This isn't like milling out steel parts or stamping out aluminum car doors - so much more complex and expensive. Those of you thinking of a $300-400 price point, good luck with that. Then there's the Marketing side: making these would be like saying (which all/some of you think but the public doesn't): "that stuff we sell today is for hackers looking for a quick fix. These are the sticks you really should be using." Think about Dodge and the re-do of the Charger and Challenger - they still load them up with modern tech.

I wonder if in Head New Employee Orientation they tell the rookies: "if you want to last here, NEVER mention bringing back the older classics."

In truth, I don't think this will ever happen. The best we can hope for is something similar to it. I grew up on the PT280, the prostaff 90s', and the prestige's. This new generation of light, hollow feeling, powerful sticks just doesn't feel the same. To me, the last 3 lines of prestige's havn't come close to the classics. The closest thing to the HP600 is the Prokennex heritage type c Redondo mid. The only beef I have with that stick is the paint job. It looks nice and bright on Tennis Warehouse, but when you have it in your hands it looks like it was sitting in the sun for 20 years. It's so dull.

There's no market for this. If you really want to relive the glory years eith the PC600 then buy a used one on **** as they're not that hard to find. You can find NOS for $300 or less on occasion. Thinking there was a way to profitably do this by Head, on a racquet that not even tour pros use anymore to keep it in production, is just misunderstanding of the production costs

I would buy a couple for sure since I still have a stock of Prestige Youtek IG Mids. Purchase around 12 of them and have 9 in bags still! Going take a while to go through them! But a 600 would be sweet!
