Not Dartagnan, but let me say, you have a nice racket there. The Equipes were very underrated. Very comfortable. I never tried the longbodied ones, but my doubles partner for years used the regular, 27" long one. One of the guys I string for has the longer, OS model. They just don't make them like these any more.Hi @Dartagnan64, et al., I was wondering if you could advise me on the following: I strung one of my longbody Prince Equipe 95”s at 52.5lbs red Origin 1.30 mains and 49.5lbs black Velocity 1.30 crosses; if I want to put black VS Touch 1.30 in the mains this time around again with 1.30 Velocity crosses, how much if any should I up the tension on the gut mains - and crosses if necessary to avoid too great a difference in tension? My go to set ups in these racquets are red Volkl CT 1.25 mains and Yonex PT Air crosses at 45lbs/43lbs, or PT Air mains and Volkl PFII 1.30 crosses both at 48.5lbs. Day in and out I love hammering away with the low tension poly but looking for ‘comfort’ set ups as well despite the lack of durability. Thanks very much for any input. Cheers, JMac
I use the same setup on my Blade v7 18x20. Main VS touch at 54 and cross YPTP at 48. The best combo I found so far for my arm and performance.I use Yonex Poly Tour Pro with gut mains.
It’s comfortable and last a while.

I concur. While VS/Alu has the best performance, it is harsh on my arm. Soft crosses such as Cream do not have nearly the same control.I use the same setup on my Blade v7 18x20. Main VS touch at 54 and cross YPTP at 48. The best combo I found so far for my arm and performance.
