it was just after the parents had divorced.

Of course people are always affected by other people's death even if they don't know them that well.Especially when it's your blood and you see other people in your family especially your parents who are deeply affected by it.

Have you forgotten how Agassi's mom and sister having cancer changed him? And thank god they're both fine now. We can't even begin to grasp the level of emotions that people have for one another.

In my opinion, this is just pathetic. How can anyone criticize someone else for a personal situation that they have been through. Dealing with death definetly affects different people in different ways, so it's basically insensitive to make comments about someone who expresses such feelings. Honestly, if this would have been anyone other than the Williams sisters, would it be a big deal?

im just saying i saw the actual video on tv where they asked her why her game was declining. first she had a 'how dare you ' look on her face then she started rattling off tons of reasons(injuries,(like no other pro has ever had injuries before)) why they werent on top any more and then finally when there about to go on to a next question she goes "oh yea...and...we are a very very...close family...."

Just because you're a close knit family doesn't mean that you have to spend every minute together. They're celebrities. BTW, Yetunde wasn't still living in Compton. She was visiting somebody with her boyfriend.

As someone has mentioned,Serena's slain sister was visiting relatives in
Compton. She was the sister's personal manager as well and the three were
etremely close. A mistrial was declared in the trials of both suspects, so the whole thing is dragging on....The lack of closure on such a devastating loss
would take its toll on even the most stable of individuals. (and I ain't sayin Serena's all that stable) Both girls have had serious injuries/surgeries. I think Serena has bounced back nicely. After all she made, the finals of Wimbledon and the year end championships fairly soon after her return.

I'm not really a big fan of Serena's tennis. Too man u e's to be interesting.
At best, she embarasses herself with her self assesments. She's a good fighter though and both sisters handled themselves with class during that run of shankings from officials (and the Henin hand incident) ..so that counts i guess. I've even read a few comments from other players (Lindsay included) saying she's a funny gregarious girl...

As annoying as the girl can be, she doesn't seem to be the incarnation of evil
that some would suggest.
