Is Babolat Pure Aero the new line for the Aero Pro's?

Hi, tried Googling around but didn't find a concrete answer. I've been using the Aero Pro's for awhile. I haven't looked into rackets for awhile, but saw that there is the Pure Aero line. Is this the new name for the Aero pro's?

Also, has anyone moved on from the Aero pro's onto other rackets, wondering if I should demo any other rackets to see how they play.

Yes it is. I moved back to the Pure Aero from other frames and used the Aero Pros in the past. I really like it a lot, and more than the APD. However you should absolutely try other racquets. Have some fun with it.

Wilson Burn series and Yonex DR rackets are similar style frames to the AeroPro line IMO.

Personally I've moved away from stiff light spin monsters to softer frames, but those of you that have elbows of steel, enjoy.

The Pure Aero is a completely different design. It absolutely crushes the ball, but has less control, is less maneuverable and for me, killed my wrist. I've never had any wrist issues before, so I sold it after three months. For what it's worth, the owner of a boutique tennis store here in NYC, who was Agassi's racquet guy and has been on the cover of tens magazines as a "racquet guru," found that a lot of his customers that switched from the APD to the Pure Aero, developed wrist issues and like me, those wrist issues went away when they went back to their APDs. He's not a PA fan. However, my friend who owns my Pure Aero, loves it[emoji4].

There's a reason that the APDs sold so well and why every other manufacturer tried to come up with their version. It's a very easy to use, forgiving frame. None of the imitators do what it does as well, in my opinion.

Crushes the ball makes it seem like it's more of a Pure Drive? It's the names that confuse me lol, it combines two of their previous product line's names into this one (the pure drive and the aeropro), but the design totally looks like it's supposed to be a continuation of the Aeropro line. I know there's more to it than specs, but comparing the specs on tennis warehouse's racket comparison makes it look pretty close to the Pure Drive too. Blah haha.

the pure aero is the successor to the aero pro. it has the same beam. paint, string spacing, grommets, and cortex thingy are different. pure aero has more SW than the aero pro or the pure drive, which makes it pretty punchy.
