Most player's use rackets with maybe 97-100 sq. inch head sizes. But I was wondering who has the biggest head size? Maybe 105?

I heard from a local pro who's sponsored by prince that monfils is switching to an OS racquet

I think his name was Mina...

Gianni Mina of France plays the Radical OS. He drew Nadal in the first round of RG last year.

Here's a thread on it:

I think Most popular is 98, BLX 98, Radical MP, Prestige MP, Prestige Pro, Baolat pure storms (except LTD), Aero Storm, Head Speed and oh! the Bio 300. All the most frequently appearing frames on tour, all 98s. very few 100s I can think of, just Babs and a few heads I think.

head speed is a 100.....

prestiges aren't true 98s iirc.

dunlop 500, APD, PD, pro open, head extreme, instinct, exo3 tour, and exo3 black are all 100s i believe.

Bartoli has a 104sq" Prince EXO3 Black and both the Williams Sisters as well as others play with the BLX Blade Team which is 104sq".

Remember Venus and Serena's NCode's from 2005-2007? They were 111sq" for Venus and 115sq" for Serena.

The largest headsize on the mens that I have seen is 107sq" in the POG and Radical OS . .

Actually the most popular size is 95 sq in. If you add up all the Prestige MP/Pro, the Radical PJ (which are all 95 not 98), plus the 6.1 95, most/all the Blades (which are really H22) you already have more than half of the racquets on the pro tour

I counted 19 95" head size frames in the ATP top 50, and 19 100" in there too. The remaining few mainly used 98" frames with one notable exception using a 90". So the vast majority are using 95s or 100s-in fact, they're dead even. However, 95" frames make up about 40% of this sample group, and so do 100" racquets.

Please note that I counted Radicals and Prestiges as 95s. If I didn't, there would be 7 95" users and 23 98"/97" users in the top 50. So that gives us 12 Prestige/Radical users in the top 50 alone!

By the way, H22s are 98s.

The Prestige MP/Pro and Radical MP are all 95", if you put a Dunlop 200 over a Presitge MP, you will see that they are identical, while if you do the same with a Dunlop 300 or a Babolat Storm, you will notice that the Prestige/Radical is visibly smaller.

I didn't know the H22 is 98", is this for real?

I think there were some huge racket heads in the 90s. At this time those super light and big oversize frames were en vogue, especially with the women.

I cann attest to this-having done it myself. I was told that Head measures from the outside of the hoop-making the headsize measurements off for all of their rackets! Its pretty confusing from a consumer perspective. So any Head racket listed as 98 is actually 95
