Less Talked About Match-ups

i think we all agree on federer-nadal,djoko-dal, and fedovic matches are great. but there are some match-ups that are great which are not so talked about. the gasquet-murray match-up is one of personal favourite.murray i think for some reason brings out the best from gasquet's backhand.so what are some of your favourite match ups that are not quite talked about?

i don't remember seeing them play against one another(isner-karlovic).i loved federer -nalbandian matches.i think out of his generation nalbandian gave federer the most trouble if we don't count nadal

Federer vs Haas (and recently Haas vs Dimitrov too).
I'll have to see how/if Federer vs Dimitrov develops any further, the first match was eye candy (just like the above).

I think Djokovic vs any 1 handed modern attacking style player are interesting and fun to watch matchups. Djoker certainly let's his opponent play a fair bit and have a say in the outcome in the match, and all the players I'm referring to are shotmakers.

As mentioned earlier:
Djokovic vs Haas
Djokovic vs Stan the Man
Djokovic vs Federer
Djokovic vs Dmitrov was interesting, but not at the level of the 3 mentioned as they have more experience in match play

agreed about federer-delpo.delpotro-nadal matches are also pretty good. their match in wimbledon 2011 was great.del potro playing well is a challenge for anybody. i miss his missile forehands.who do you guys think hit the ball harder between del potro and wawrinka?

a match i would love to see is tsonga vs del potro where both plays well.we could be in for some breathtaking attacking tennis. both man can hit the cover of the ball off

Del Potro hits harder than Stan and Fernando Gonzales hits even harder

his forehand was an absolute monster.but wasn't his backhand a bit weaker? but i remember a match betwen roddick and gonzales in AO where he hit it beautifully including some return winners from that wing, though he lost the match

yeah I remember him playing a forehand return (at the French Open I believe) where the ball had passed the server before he was finished with his service motion. Insane guy

I think the Gasquet-Murray match up is really good, you always get to see some good, contrasting tennis and some interesting shotmaking. Their best match was at Wimbledon in 2008.

Djokovic - Del Potro
Nadal - Del Potro
Federer - Del Potro
Normally if Delpo plays well and Nadal is subpar, Delpo generally cruises. Montreal 2009, USO 2009, Shanghai 2009 are some examples.

While in the Fed-Delpo match-up, even when Fed is subpar, the match still goes to 3 sets

I was thinking of their IW match and Wimbledon matches - Nadal/Del Potro
