Like the U.S. Open, the French Open needs to move to Hawkeye Live

Ive already seen multiple instances of umpires getting in/out calls wrong even when looking at the "ball mark."

Im also tired of line judges stopping points on balls that are in.

It seems they have a hawkeye setup at the French Open only to show the television audience when annoying bad calls are made.

Stop holding the sport back with "tradition" when you have proven technology that makes far more accurate calls and makes the sport BETTER. There is too much at stake in these matches. It's like they want to keep around the 1980s John McEnroe losing his mind vibe!

Use Hawkeye Live and you wont have Karolina Pliskova taking a chunk out of the umpires chair at the end of the match!

what about unemployement of those linesmen ? who will feed their families and their sons and daughters ?

It's just the way it goes, if a factory puts more automation some workers are fired. It is not something new specific to tennis only.

What ??????? LOL. they don't work without pay. they get paid pretty well acutally in ATP and WTA tour. they get salary plus all travel expenses paid

Thay actually pay for line judges to travel and not just take local volunteers? If so, they are getting ripped off.

HawkEye isn't very reliable on clay and there will still be disputes. Foxtenn is, but it is more costly. Top clay tournaments could afford to implement it on the main courts though.

we all need to be flexible nowadays. waiters and chefs retrain to become construction workers who build solar farms
