After having to face him in the FIRST ROUND of three straight tournaments on clay (Costa Do Sauipe, Buenos Aires, and Vina Del Mar), and losing each time (7-6 6-1, 6-3 5-7 6-1, 6-3 6-3), Marcos Daniel finally got a win off of Massu, in the second round of Acapulco! (6-4, 6-4)
