He is a true pusher! I hate pushers!

Nadal,, some might think he is a pusher, but he wants to win the point with his own weapons,,but Simon,, Noooooooooo... Just play the ball back,,safe and sound.. in the middle of the court,, all day long!!!

you missed Blake, Ferrer and a bunch of others.
So i had to vote Nadal.
Nice guy, boring game.

you could have voted other. I ran out of room in the poll nad put the guys I could think of at the top of my head. Blake doesn't really strike me as boring and I just completley forgot about ferrer

Gulbis and Simon just make me fall asleep
Nadal returns eveyrthing to the center with the occasional good shot
If I didn't put Federer in, *******s would make a big deal
Djokovic just stands in the back of the court and tries to hit winners
Gonzo slices every backhand
Karlovic and Roddick just serve
Davydenko hits the ball less hard everyday

def Karlo... Simon moves the ball around pretty well, nice placement, he just isn't a huge hitter. I love his game.

Federer. Everything about him spells boring. Amazing he has as many fans as he does despite this obvious issues of boring personality and game.

I thought you were gonna pick Nadal? Just a question. what's so boring about his game besides the fact that you hate him?

I chose Nadal, because he is always too tired to play. Reminds me of "Linus" from Charlie Brown.

that's okay. Nadal sort of covers up for them.

I voted for Federer, because he is always predictable in losing to Nadal. Go to his BH every time, and his game falls apart. Very boring.

federer is the most boring when at his peak because he wins so easily...we can predict the result of the rally and match.

soooooo boring to see him win easily.

All of love to see a really competitive match- nadal wins easily on clay too but we love to watch the rallies as they are fun to watch.

so right, Nadal is so predictable in going to Fed's BH, and by that logic, Nadal is v boring.

I don't understand how so many people can find Karlovic boring when he is a S&V player when there are so few left. His serve is awesome to watch, and just the novelty of watching a 6'10" guy scramble around the court (quite well actually) is a pleasing break from the rest of the tour.

lol at Federer is boring because he won all the time. Boring game means the way they play not the fact that the way they play beat everybody constantly...silly Nadal fans.

Although Nadal always baselines it his game is not nearly as boring as most of the others on that list, imagine Davydenko playing Karlovic. That would put anybody to sleep, the two play some of the most boring games ever. Davydenko hits this weak shots and Karlovic seems to be incompetent in playing the game outside of his serve. Obviously Federer and Nadal are not boring players because EVERYONE i repeat EVERYONE watches their games. So can you biased Nadal and Federer fans stop bashing each other and seriously please don't tell me either of them are more boring than Davydenko or Karlovic. If so I might just force those two play 5 set exhibitions on grass of all surfaces. Yea seriously nothing gets more boring than that.

So now for a real question who would win Davydenko vs. Karlovic on grass lol? I think I give the edge to Karlovic just because I think that big serve might come in handy.

^^Great post, but I disagree>>> Nadal is boring when we are lucky enough to watch him play>>>> being that he is always injured or pulling out of events due to exhaustion.

agreed

also, i don't get people who say davydenko is boring--he is a master tactician
---the beauty of his game is more subtle___
when he is in the zone he can destroy anyone (except fed lol)

Nadal probably did more volleying there and most of Karlovic's volleying is not that good. Just because you serve and volley does not mean you are interesting. Karlovic runs to the same spot all the time and just attempts to volley there and his volley game is not even that strong. Karlovic is drawn to that center line all his volleying goes on there he doesn't do anything different same shots over and over and most of his baseline game consists of very high lobs or really straight shots...outside of his serve nothing is interesting.

tactician don't have to be interesting. You can be very boring and play a tactical game, its just about being able to play the best shots and I don't think Davydenko can destroy anyone that is pushing it.

Haha, vamos Linus! :)

I think Nadal is definitely the most boring player to watch. IMO. He's very good at his defensive baseline style of play, so if you like that style then he's obviously the best, but to people like myself who enjoy attacking tennis it's very boring. This is why Nadal has so many die hard fans, but many haters as well. You either like his game or you don't.

Gulbis, Gonzalez, Djokovic, Federer? You cannot be serious. I wouldn't exactly define the top shot makers in men's tennis as "boring".

Karlovic is a lot of fun to watch. I don't know how anyone can say that he's all about the serve when he beat Djokovic and Federer this year, and came very close to a win against Nadal in Queens club. You don't get results like that with just a big serve. You just don't.

Nadal. He's a great player and seems like a great person, but his game just bores me to death. His topspin forehand to the other player's backhand is effective sure, but it's also boring as hell to watch.

Why are you even trying to find logic in his posts? He always does this - he comes into a thread, annoy everybody else without ever explaining his posts, and leaves - he never actually answers questions like yours. He is, after all, Nadal's Freak.

First off, why is Gulbis on that list? Who doesn't like watching a player w/ superhuman power (even if balls don't always go in)? Well anyway, on the men's side I really enjoy watching all of them. Maybe the slightly boring ones are Nalbandian and Djokovic. On the women's side many of them are boring.

Some boring women
Jankovic - learn how to volley!
Zvonareva
Radwanska
Davenport (This is off topic but after announcing that she'll play in the Aussie open, a week later, she withdrew due to an unexpected pregnancy).
Cornet - doesn't know how to do anything.

The only female player I like to watch right now is Patty Schnyder

Looks like a Karlovic v. Nadal 5-setter with Davydenko as commentator could be used to cure insomnia.

Karlovic is slightly more boring then Nadal. With Nadal I can always look forward to him getting tuned up in a hardcourt slam, and that is very enjoyable to watch.
