No Fed doesn't look like he's on crack and fidgety to me.As for his shotmaking abilities,he's one of the best shotmakers ever IMO.
He is definitely one of the bestshotmakers, I'll give you that. And he does get to the ball extremely well. I just don't particularly like the manner in which he does it. He looks very nervous to me. If I was going to think about an elegant mover, he just isn't tops on my list.
Don't know for others but I personally don't need to do that as I have the ability to think for myself and form my own opinion. And regardless I'm from Serbia and Serbian comentators aren't really that biased in favour of Fed.It's probably different elsewhere.
We all form our own opinions, and no two people are alike. That's why we have different preferences, neither being wrong or right. Just different. I would love to watch Serbian TV if that's the case, because the commentators that broadcast our matches are ridiculously overbearing (and many of his fans, not just here). If I was a Fed Fan they would've turned me off with all that gushing.
Disagree with that. His game was always elegant and aesthetically appealing to me ever since I saw him win his first title in Milan in 2001 and beat Sampras at Wimbledon that year. That's around the time I became a fan of his.
Nothing wrong with that, although it is subjective and you're entitled. It goes back to differences. I was his fan once too, he just turned me off with the things he says.
Yes,he is a great player.
Obviously according to your opinion he isn't.A lot of people will disagree(and no I don't talk about comentators disagreeing).
I've never said he isn't a great player. I just don't find him elegant or the praise warranted. I see other people who looked better playing the game of tennis. Why do you insist that I said he wasn't a great player?
Never though Maria as having an elegant game. For me she was always a good ballstriker with powerful serve and groundies and a good competitor. She does look like a very elegant girl to me but I couldn't say the same for her game.
I know, but oh my, that was the catch phrase at the beginning of her career.
P.S.-I never said he was boring either. I'm just not a fan of his.
