Should be no need for me to worry though as king fed already has this wrapped up. Cincy and Toronto form aint nothing, just wait till the US open. As for Nadal he isnt good enough to ever win a hard court slam again, the backhand breaks down so easily now. :)

A ******* really shouldn't be talking about anyone's backhand...

Cincy was a real tough one! A bye, two walkovers, a pigeon and a guy ranked outside the top 30. What a fighter!

As mentioned many times "monte carlo" or had you conveniently forgotten? Anyhow he cant help what draw he gets, who he plays or if the opponent gets injured, he just has to win the thing. :-?

I agree. So don't talk about his "form" at Cincy considering I could have probably done some damage with that joke of a draw. A good indication of his form is when he played an actual real opponent, Murray, whom he lost in straight sets to.

not to bad of a bh dont you think.

Every top player, i think every seeded player, had a bye.

Fed had a retirement against Istomin, and a walkover from Kohslcrieber, who Federer would have beaten (5-0 record most recent win on Halle this year). Next up was Davydenko (#6 in the world). Nadal is 1-10 i think..against top 10 players this year on HC, who has a 5-4 record against your god Rafito, winning the past 3 matches. Then there was baghdatis, who in fact BEAT Rafito and who Fed lost to in Indian Wells (although he held a M.P). His final was against Fish, who beat Murray, Verdasco, and Roddick en route to the final. Fish is playing top 10 tennis this summer.

Its amazing the sort of crap Nadal fans will come up with to discredit Federer's wins. Give credit where it is due.

i doubt you would win a point against any of those players (D.F dont count)

Man, what’s with all the Nadal hate on this forum. Think how boring tennis would be without him. It would be down to Federer and a bunch of scrubs

What does Nadal's record against Davy have to do with anything? Nadal crushes Federer when they play, and Federer crushes Davy. So with your stupid H2H logic, Nadal indirectly has a winning record against Davy. Fish is playing top 10 tennis? If he was, he would be in the top 10. He's not even in the top 20 so that's a ridiculous statement. Federer's backhand is by far the worst in the top 10, so don't even compare it to Nadal's.

Federer is my second favorite player and when Nadal loses, Federer is who I root for, but *******s make it REALLY hard to root for the guy. You're being really cocky, especially considering this is the first title he's won since the AO.

Oh who do I not to win the US Open this year

1. Marin Cilic - He doesn't deserve a major and if he wins it I will just be grossed out. His form has been awful and it would make me angry that top 10 guys actually los to him.

2. Fernando Verdsaco - The thoughts of him winning a major makes me cry.

3. Andy Murray - Because I like the thoughts of him crying to his mommy about how all his peers are winning them but he hasn't yet. Besides if he wins we will have to see him and his mother give a press conference interview and I am not sure if there is a camera that can handle both of those faces on one screen.

4. Rafael Nadal - I don't want him to win it this year. I feel he will win it, but I would rather him win it a year when he is playing better on hardcourts so people won't criticize it for people pulling choke jobs. Besides I would much rather him win it as his last major at like 29 just to see the *******s explode and hear all the comparisons to Fed winning that French Open very late. Nadal winning the US Open for 16 would be so priceless lol.

5. Almost anyone on the WTA but Kim Clijsters - I personally feel the US Open for the womens tour she be cancelled as Serena Williams is missing and so is Justine Henin and soon enough Venus Williams will be out so that leaves the choke brigade left to fight out for the title. So it is going to come down to which choker can choke the least. I'd like to see Sharapova do something again or maybe Ivanovic because she is one of the prettier girls but if Pushizacki and the rest of the new WTA crew manage to take this one I will cringe.

The amount of crap *******s come up with is unbelievable.
Now, back on-topic.

1. Nadal - Doesn't have the game for hardcourts, and that's why he does not deserve this slam at this point IMO. There are people who play far better on this surface, so if he wins, it would be quite a shame.

2. Federer - Just to break the cliché

3. Verdasco - I don't really think there's any possibility he can win, but it would give a summary of what the ATP really is becoming.

4. Söderling - Too hyped after he outplayed both Nadal and Federer in RG. He can play fantastic one day, and really bad another day, like is already proven. Check RG 2009 and 2010.

5. Gulbis - Zero possibility IMO, but such a mental midget does not deserve to win IMO.

EDIT: rovex, what makes you such a Roddick-hater?

I was hoping that FED will win USO 2010 ( w/Nadal Finalist So that we can get back on enjoy that Great Rivalry again .... & get Fed back in the game ) - my no.fav now is Nadal , no.2 Fed - then why do I wanted Fed to win - you ask ? well , Nadal didn't win the First two Wimby's but he turned out great later on - as a result we saw one of the greatest match ever ( Wimby2008 ) - as a TRUE Tennis Fan - I wanted that ...

But , after reading your post - I may want Nadal to Win just to shut-up a ******* like You .... ( I know you are never gonna shut-up even if Nadal bagels Fed last set ... you'll come up with mono or oxygen in air too thin or new york smell that stopped Fed from playing his best or something like that - Face it you blithering idiot - Fed is the lesser player now , unless he can get his record straight against his biggest rival ( not gonna happen ) - Fed will always be no.2 even if he wins USO.

I can name a top 5 that I don't want them to win in US open....but then again they don't have the ability to win it!

So My top 5 would be....if they have the ability to win it but don't want...

1.Queerey-Such a great top 20 player...but right now I don't think he has the maturity to do well in the slams!

2. Cilic- Very poor performance this season after his bright burst in the begginning!

3. Verdasco- Does have the weapons to win....but it would not maked sense if he won this at this time!

4. Gulbis- If he won this year....it would be bad for his future. Like Safin(He won a slam again in 05) did in 2000...it would make him not improve as much as he would need to win a slams in the future. Stunts the future...

5.Simon/Monfils- I would feel sick if a counterpuncher other than Hewitt/Murray won this title!

Yeah, and Nadal couldn't even make it to the final and gets beat by "cough, cough" Baggy. If I were you I would be so embarrassed.

1- Nadal (too painful game, u can read it on his face every time he hits)
2- djokovic (no way)
3- Roddick (same as nadal)
4- Soderling (lovely hitter but I get bored)
4- Noone else that could really do it...

Federer, Murray, Gulbis (pure talent), Nalbandian (obvious), Berdych (pure hitter), verdasco (pure shotmaker) are welcome :)

Do you remember Disney's The Little Mermaid?
There was this sting ray character who tried his best to cause unrest and dis harmony amongst family and friends.
All of the underwater creatures ended up arguing and fighting.....

1. Andy Roddick - Words cannot express my hatred towards this misserable, misserable man. To death with him and all his friends.

2. Novak Djokovic - Has also become a misserable, misserable man recently. Doesn't seem to want to take responsibility for his career, thinks he has a god given right to success and won't have to work for it.

3. Tomas Berdych - I don't mind his game, but he has become very, very arogant since reaching Wimby final. A first round exit to take him down a peg or two would suffice.

4. Robin Soderling - He seems like a horrible, anti-social person and it would be a sporting travesty if a player like this were to ein a slam before Murray.

5. Sam Querrey - I don't really like or dislike the guy, but an early and embarrassing exit may stop him from going on to be one of the typical overhyped Americans we all hate.

You seem to have quite an 'opinion' on these guys. Miserable, arrogant, anti-social, horrible... and have you even ever spoke to them in person? I doubt it.

I'm going by their on-court attitudes, and by their press conferences, interviews etc. You're right, I have never had the displeasure to meet Andy Roddick or Robin Soderling, and to be quite honest, I'd quite like to keep it that way.

1. Nadal - his game doesn't send the right message on how to play on hard-courts, winning would be a catastrophe for modern tennis as juniors would get the completely wrong idea on how to play tennis.

I feel anyone else with a chance of winning is inside the top 6, possibly only two players can really win it (Murray or Federer), it would be pointless to not want Donald Young to win the US Open, as he has no chance.
