Nike Air Max Wildcard thoughts?

General thoughts on the Air Max Wildcard? Looks like a nice budget shoe, only worn it a few times but I want to know everybody’s thoughts on it.

The sole grip doesn't last long, BUT, the shoes are otherwise really good. Really snug fit (actually uncomfortably tight to start with but they break in to be perfect). Tons of cushioning, the insole is extremely thick and comfortable, and this extends all the way to the toes. Also the sole is not too flexible, it supports the foot well. I find the Vapor Xs too flexible in the toe area, it hurts my big toes.

I hope Nike brings back air max performance shoes, I.E. air court ballistics. Air max and lunarlon is just so nice, and plus those shoes were durable and could be used at high performance. The wildcard is great except it is not durable. Also I am definitely not going to try the air max vapor wing, no matter how cheap it is. That shoe looks to have no support.

Yes. Like the Nike Tennis Classic and Nike Court Royale from before.

A decent budget practice shoe. Offers a locked in feel (booty design) with a slightly too snug feel until broken in. The insole is a very cushioned one that some complain makes the toe box too tight so either go up 1/2 size or trim the insole flap by the pinky toe area to provide a more standard feel.

After wearing a few times mine are broken in very well and I find them very comfortable with a locked in feel (I have narrow feet FYI). I have noticed the sole wearing quickly but I did not expect high durability at this price point.

So what do you get with the Wildcard:
- Great locked in feel bordering on over tight (subjective) but this can be easily changed (1/2 size up or trim insole)
- Booty Design
- Budget friendly
- Good Looking
- Comfortable
- Questionable Durability

Essentially a great lower cost alternative to the Zoom Zero if you can accept it's shortcomings. I like them for my practice/rec playing days and for the price you can get them on sale I'm not complaining. I would purchase them again.
