No
Only spending thousands on cash with a high level pro will only get you past 3.0-3.5

You can build x level strokes by not playing matches.
But you cant build an x level player by not playing matches, doesnt matter what level ur strokes are.
Match toughness and match experience can be developed by playing match.
I hit with a ball machine probably a few times. Its a little bit predictable isn't it? You won't learn to watch your opponent hand and move accordingly.
NTRP rating rough description actually has nothing to do with results, but actual NTRP rating has everything to do with results and nothing to do with strokes.

I agree with your post but how do you practice a serve with a ball machine. I have a totally different approach to ball machines, I use a Ball machine to work on cardio conditioning while also grooving groundstrokes. I find 1 to 2 hours on a ball machine is a great workout.of course it can be done. 4.0 isn't exactly hard to get to or great tennis. You can get fitness stamina, hone strokes, movement footwork, practice your volleys and lobs too. More important you need to practice your serve and possibly the return against the machine. Absolutely it can be done.

If you look up in this forum someone made a platform. I mean you can even crank your machine up to max speed, max topspin with a high trajectory and it'll be like a kick serve.
You must be talking about return of serve, not the serve, I must haveIf you look up in this forum someone made a platform. I mean you can even crank your machine up to max speed, max topspin with a high trajectory and it'll be like a kick serve.
