overgrip than replacement grip

i use an overgrip instead of a replacement grip because the grip on my racquet is too big. then i felt a pain in my wrist and wondered if it was because of the grip so i doubled layered my overgrip.

should i just get a replacement grip? is there a reason why i can't just use two overgrips instead of one replacement grip?

some people do use 1 overgrip only, some others 2 overgrip...it's a matter of taste. It is commonly believed that grips and overgrips do little for racquet vibrations, othernot noone would use leather for instance. The pain in the elbow might just be some extra fatigue.

It is possible that your hand got used to gripping the racquet with a certain force. When you removed the replacement grip and useed only a OG, you may be attempting to grip it tighter than your used to ... fatigue/pain
