I really like this one. Found one for the same amount of money in very good shape. However I still prefer Biomimetic 200 and M200 Classic.

I don’t have enough time with the 4D yet, but I do like the Bio and Classic. Favorite of the lot, I think, is still the MW or HM.

Very nice to see a Dunlop aficionado with a great collection! But how do you not have the original Aerogel 200 in there? My humble opinion, it feels much better than Aerogel 200 4D. The latter feels like a board in comparison.





And I love my Muscle Weaves as well. Best of the entire 200 lineup in my opinion.

@haqq777 I know. I’ll have to get one. Honestly, and I know it’s petty, but the graphics bug me on the AG200. They make the head appear square. I’m sure it’s less so when you’re actually holding it in your hand. At this point, I need it just to add to the collection. Maybe you’ve just convinced me. Also not pictured is the Max 200G I got earlier in the year. I also have the Bio Max 200G, but that’s not really a 200.

Got this classic in today from the mail. Bought it cheap for only $10 shipped and it’s in pretty good condition for it’s age. This one is the same as the OG colorway, but this one was made in England. Overall, happy to pair it with my Wilson T2000!

Are you sure about the prostock code? It looks more like 291.2 – which is the same IG Prestige S (then used also as a mold for all graphene Prestige Pros) but with more dense string pattern.
IG Prestige S had really open 16x19 string pattern. The one used in 291.2 is the same as in IG Prestige Pro (325g, 16x19).

Anyway – I really like that prostock – has power of Radical line, 16x19 and the feel is closer to Prestige line (also similar YouTek Radical with better feedback).

Heh, I also didn't buy AG200 for graphic reason. I still miss M-fil200 and AG200/300 in my collection. F2.0 Tour was quite a departure from the line – more similar to Wilson 6.1 line. Really stiff.
I think many of Dunlop frames have this "board" feel for some reason – you can easily get comfy and powerful strings – like NXT/natural gut hybrid and you still have full control.
However Aerogel 4D 100 – has great feel – different from 4D 200/300 line. F100 Classic isn't far from it as well.

I always thought it would be good to try out AeroGel line – seemed flexier from what I have read in old threads – so started looking around from now on.

Not sure if you have tried it already, but I do think Dunlop CX200 Tour is a great racket. Honestly – also Dunlop NTour 97 has great touch/feel.

PS. By the way – have any of you measured strung stiffness of Bio 200 and M200 Classic. RDC ratings are quite different in many places. Racquet Finder indicates 57RA for Bio never found and for M200.

This will be great find for me since I keep coming to the IG Prestige S with leather and mines weights about 348 with dampener and OG. And would like to get other painjobs if possible. Thanks

I have never tried the AG100. Hear it is a fantastic feeling frame (and the 16x19 pattern is enticing). I just don't think the smaller 90 sq in head size would work for me, but that is on me. Heard great things about the frame!

Yes, it is one of the best hitting frames IMHO. Unfortunately I originally picked it up what 12-13 years ago when I was maybe a few years into my tennis journey and did not have the game for the racket.
Now that I have some game I don't have the footwork/stamina/hand eye coordination to play with it.
I had it in my bag today and once I broke a string in my reg racket decided to play a set with it. It is still one of the best serving rackets for me, but for the rest you have to keep your foot on the accelerator as this does not do well on defense. Still feels good to hit with it once a year or so.

Good catch! I checked and it’s 291.2. The pallet was a pain take off but now I know for sure.

Yes – TGT291.2, they are available in Graphene, XT, Touch and G360+ paintjobs.

I've had a Klippermate for 3 years now and it has never let me down. Still takes me a little over an hour but I can't see anyone getting much better without fixed clamps and machine tension assistance. I sometimes think of going bigger with an expensive one but I only string for myself and the wife, so this does the job just fine

I love my Klipper. I get the impression that drop weight stringers are losing their attractiveness among many players these days. Unless something is electronic and has a few bells and whistles, it's regarded as not being a quality piece of equipment. I love the Klipper's simplicity and dependability. I can understand that stringers that are doing dozens of racquets a week may want something a bit more advanced but the Klipper has served me well for many years.

It's really exciting to see how many of you love Dunlop frames. Given the nature of this sport, (similar to golf where individuals will swear by one club maker above all others, and where equipment is such a personal yet important aspect of the game) I know that there are individuals who will swear by one manufacturer against all others. In my case, the decision to go with Dunlop/Slazenger was made years ago and it had nothing to do with which pro was playing with them. Now in my 60s, I would love to add some of the racquets that are part of the long history of Dunlop (some of which other TW contributors have shown pics of) but it's hard to explain to my wife why I need more racquets My tennis club friends find it quite amusing that I believe it's important to "show some love to all of my racquets". In other words, I play with a different Dunlop racquet almost every time I hit the court.

Playing with a different stick every day always gives a person an excuse: "Ah, I'm not used to this open string bed", or "Yesterday, I was using the _______ and I strung that one with _____ but this one I strung with _______". Pathetic actually so I try not to verbalize the challenges of playing with a different racquet each time out. I tend to be a stubborn guy so I just suck it up and try to get a feel for the racquet I've committed myself to for that match. Fun times.

I have about six pairs of the same frame and then a whole bunch of individual frames. I switch racquets quite randomly, sometimes during a match (between sets) but usually between matches. If I play twice in a day, once in the morning and later in the evening, I may play with two different M-Fil 300s but each one is strung with different strings and different tensions. As you can imagine, going from an M-Fil 200 to the Aerogel 300.in a matter of hours can be quite challenging. One is an 18 X 20 and the other a 16 X 19 and the swing-weights are different, the flexes of each racquet are different and of course I string each of my frames differently. The truth is that each of my racquets, even those that I have pairs of are strung with different string/tension/hybrids so even if they are the same frame, they will undoubtedly have a different string set up. I love the challenge of trying to adapt to something that feels different from what I played the day before or earlier in the day. Of course I would not recommend my approach to anyone who is really playing competitively or someone who is really trying to work on a certain aspect of their game. I'm not suggesting in any way that my game is in no need of improvement; there is lots of room for improvement. I simply enjoy the mental, physical and technical/mechanical (swing changes or adjustments) challenges associated with changing equipment quite frequently. I'm also not under any delusion that there is some magic wand (frame) out there that will solve my significant shortcomings as a player.

@flex Gotta be honest... see the plastic on the handle? Haven’t even strung it up yet. Hit with a buddy’s once that was strung up with natural gut mains and Luxilon ALU Rough. That felt super sweet, but that set up tends to do that. Much lighter than older 200’s.

How does this compare to the mfil or 4d or previous 200/300 line?

The feel is in my opinion superior to most of 300 line – very flexy with good feedback. In comparison to 200 line – it is really easier to swing, customize and has a bit more power.
But SW is really low so you need extra lead tape and silicon to get it right. I would compare it to Tecnifibre 315 Ltd. Hard to say which one I prefer.

May I ask how lead do you add to your racquets and where. I love Prince racquets but I also feel they are sometimes too light to respond a very heavy ball but their feel is unmatched.

For these phantoms (100X 290) I am adding 3 grams at 10 and 2 and about 0.5 grams at 12. Other folks in the Prince threads are doing 3 and 9 too but I personally feel the rackets are fairly stable lower in the hoop but do need some weight in the upper hoop.
Edit: Also along with the leather I have 5 grams in the butt of the racket as well. Results in a very solid feeling racket at just ~320 grams.

It's great right? It forced me to cut back to only essentials rather than lugging around a huge bag with every single tennis item I own. Plus, no handle sticking out. I wonder if the new version has improvements. My only complaint is I wish it was more firm without a racket inside and for the front pocket's mesh thingy to be more stable as well.
