Guga, noah, newk, smith, ashe, Michael Stich, goran, and of course ilie nastase. I would out marius copil up there, too.
But now, I am partial to the platform stance.
I admire the serves of Pete, rF, becker, cilic, mac, shapo, grigor, and thiem.
Okker, ja! And how about fred stolle? And John sadri? Lew hoad. Manolo santana had a beauty. Big jake kramer. Pancho gonzales.oh yes, Ashe! here's one clip with him and another beautiful server, Tom Okker:
Thank god someone said it.Delbonis
Yuck, this is one of the ugliest motions I've seen from a top proCaroline Garcia has one of the best serves I’ve ever seen.
fed far ahead as you sayWho do you think has the coolest, best-looking serve motion ever? Past or present, male or female, don’t matter
For me it goes like this:
1. Fed (takes the no. 1 spot by a large margin, no contest really, the most smooth and most graceful serve action ever, I will never get tired of watching that)
2. Karlovic (don’t know what is it about this serve motion but I’ve always thought it looked very cool, for me personally it’s a joy to watch Ivo serve, both because of the cool serve motion and cause of the serve that comes after)
3. Djokovic (this one also looks really cool to me, his best-looking shot along with his backhand)
4. Sampras (I’ve always really liked how he prepares before tossing the ball, looks great all-around)
I would say Sampras and Noah… but I like very much Boris'.
What do you guys think of Johnny Mac?
Bigmacs unconventional and ugly, nonetheless effective on fast surfaces because he created a difficult angle on right handers backhand.I would say Sampras and Noah… but I like very much Boris'.

No one comes close to this picture perfect, fluid yet effortless serving motion.
So you guys like it when Petes tongue comes out of his mouth?Sampresh definitely has the best service motion.

Harsh. Prettiest is the qualifier in the threadtitle. Roscoe and krajicek...and also goran, were devastating, powerful, quiCk, effective, tough to read. But pretty?Only Roscoe Tanner and Krajichek should be on this list!
Everything efficient and fast in the motionof both their arms.
To many plaers serve with ugly high tosses and back curl. Even Feds toss is circular, not straight like Roscoes and Richards motion. Only Ivanisovic and Dent deserve a honourable mention.
These days there are nomore serve
I also like the effortless serve motion of Pancho Gonzalez. In his day tennis rules for the front foot had to be planted to prevent foot faults. I'm not sure when the tennis rules changed but if he would have been able to launch himself with his legs more I think his serve would have been even better.
His motion really looked effortless and smooth and he wasn't even even swinging at full speed according to some bio's i've read.
I like Lisicki's thicckk socckks. She reminds me of a song by tribe called quest.... Sabine, sabine, s'bina applebaum.
A collection of big serves.
For me, I have always been intrigued by McEnroe's motion. Somewhat unique. Loved when Novak impersonated him serving.
Isner's is PERFECT. Thing of beauty.
Deliciano. Sooo smoooooth and efficient.
Honorable mention to another lefty, Shapovalov.
From the guys of yore, Edberg's motion was interesting.
Federer by a country mile, especially in his early days (03-05)
Honorable mentions to Karlovic, Tsonga, Roddick, Djokovic, and Verdasco.
(Too lazy to check if I've already posted this on the thread)
Agree with thatDon't forget Sjeng Schalken.
Ever heard of a player named Pete Sampras?
