I think they both used Juice pj for a long period. Before this racquet was made Feliciano used different editions of Pro Open pj.

Just watched the match between Nishikori and Dusan Lajovic in the Basil Open and Lajovic was using a 6.1 under a PS97 paintjob. Who is that joker that said the 6.1 isn't suited for modern tennis and only for old farts? It's obvious that most Wilson touring pro's are using Blades or 6.1's instead of the failed PS97.

Recently saw USC player Max De Vroome playing with the Six One and one of his hitting partners was also using the Six One.

Looking through photos I think there are some patterns that are wrong on the list.

From photos I've seen all of the players quoted below played 18x20 patterns.
Jonas Bjorkman: 16x18
Max Mirnyi: 16x18
Simon Aspelin: 16x18
Bruno Soares: 16x18
Richard Krajicek: ?
Jarkko Nieminen: 16x18
Fernando Meligeni: 16x18
Daniel Vacek: ?
Todd Martin: 16x18 (Post-retirement)
Andre Sa: ?
Dick Norman: 16x18
Aisam-ul-Haq_Qureshi: 16x18
Tennys Sandgren: ?

These 4 quoted below, from what I found, use 16x18
Gabashvili: 18x20
Alex Corretja: ?
Fernando Vincente: ?
David Sanchez: ?

Todd Martin: 16x18 (Post-retirement) the skunk wasn't sold in 18x20 as seen here, nor the hammer tour, so he may have used a Pro Staff Classic on tour, or it could something else entirely.

If it is helpful both patterns have 4 crosses on the PWS, so 18x20 has 8 strings above and below PWS, 16x18 has 7 strings above and below. So if you can see the edge of the PWS and count crosses to the end of the frame you don't need to see the whole stringbed. Of course 4 pairs in the throat is the easiest way to tell 18 mains.

I like what you are doing with with the list, I had previously thought about different ways it could be organized. Totally up to you, I don't mean to create work for you, its a great thread as-is

  • Sorting by career highest rank is the easiest way I could think to float the names people know to the top. The question then would be is the ranking listed their highest with the 6.1 or personal best. Maybe color could indicate when the career high was achieved with a 6.1

  • My most far fetched idea is to have a total prize money won with a 6.1 - if we had a confirmed date range a player used the 6.1 then sum the prizes of those tournaments. Easy for someone who never switched, the ones who did would be horrendous. With just Corretja, del Potro, Lindstedt, Nestor, Bjorkman and Mirnyi the sum is $68.5 million.
I think I'm going to run through Junior slams, would you like a list of the juniors I can find that won with a 6.1?

I love the idea of sorting by career high ranking and then making bold/color distinctions to indicate major winners and current users

If you have the time, I think it'd be a cool idea to create a sub-list that indicate who won junior majors with a 6.1

Love the ideas mate @moon shot let me know if you come up with any other ideas to refine/improve the list. Thanks for keeping this thread alive! It's my pride and joy

18x20, it looks to have near Delpo levels of lead at 3 & 9. I would guess his frames weren't available and had to borrow, must be a story there.

Makes sense. Del po was using that PJ at the AO 2010 if my memory serves me right

Anybody have updates about the claims that the 6.1 is coming back?

I know nothing. Just thinking about the styling of different lines now that they are simplified to one color ... Wilson has used red, orange, green, blue. If they were bringing it back as a independent line then all they have left is yellow or maybe white that has heritage, outside of that cyan or purple. Since they've already given some 6.1 guys paintjobs of other frames that casts further doubt. My hope lies in a US anniversary edition.

The anniversary would be cool. I, personally, would rather hop on flea bay and buy one in good condition with a soft flex. However, you have a good point about the color combinations. Yellow and white are the only feasible combinations that remain. Although, the 2014 6.1's had a hint of gold. Gold would be really cool aesthetically

The list is slow coming, I'm still in progress but I thought I'd show where it stands so @gino can say I've made it way to complex or anyone can suggest improvements

The TW staff told me that they would ask their Wilson rep about the potentiality of a 6.1 return later this week. Really looking forward to hearing back. A 6.1 countervail would be a dream. This is coming from someone who really loves the CV blade, despite not being fond of the blade line prior to the CV variants. I am anxious to see if Wilson brings back the traditional 16x18 / 18x20 offerings, or if they bring back the 95S 18x16? I love them all. Mostly the 16x18, but the 18x16 S almost as much
