Rafa brings Djoko to tears

Maybe Djoko will beat Rafa at RG eventually. But it's incredible and astonishing how Rafa keeps holding up year after year, when most people believe that Djoko will win.

RG 2014 - Djoker comes in on a 4 match winning streak over Rafa, and is the better player overall. And yet, by the end of the match, Rafa's imposed his will on Djoko and won. Djoko loses the most important of all the matches, and ends up in tears.

I can see why Djokovic is distraught:

(1)
After years of PR failure, Djokovic invested into professional help who convinced him that if he contracts with Peugeot, wears blue, flirts with ballboys, and speaks as much French as possible for a few weeks, he will be guaranteed to squeeze every eurocent out of an RG title.

(2)
Meanwhile, Nadal has been throwing him bones (Monte Carlo one year, Rome another, etc.) to maintain the delusion that Djokovic can hang with Nadal on clay.

Djokovic is dumb as a brick (confirmed by a recent photo of his chess match against Becker). He bought into the PR team hype and took Nadal’s dog bone masters at face value.

Result: bitter disappointment, distress, and tears.
