I disagree. I hate ignore lists, because I may be tempted to read posts anyway; and I don't like a whole page of ignoring posts--and, often, ignore lists are the best way to ignore trolls. That being said, some posters do get better, and trolls used to at least be humorous and good at trolling.
It must be a generational thing. These new young'uns just never learned how to troll properly.
There is very good mechanism against trolls but needs of PMs-
1) First give Yellow card which is warning, which expires after 365 days.
2) If poster repeats same during 365 days period, give Red card with 1 day ban.
3) If he/she repeats again during expiry period of First Red card, give 2nd Red card with ban of 3 days.
If poster repeats again and again they gives you Red cards with ban of duration 7 days, 15 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year and 2 years.
Separate infractions for trolling, baiting, Personal attacks, player bashing are given.
One needs 15 Red cards to get perm. ban.
Clay Death already have full filled this criteria at MTF, that's why I am saying it's just start.
15 Red cards is not easy task, even for troll also.
consistencconsistency in trolling.
I believe TT needs such mechanism to deal with trolls.
