Really Sweaty Hands

I dont know where else I can post this thread but my palms sweat so much during play I have to switch my overgrips almost every time I play. Any recommendations for an absorbent and tacky overgrip?

You might have to wipe your hand on a towel after every point or something. Other than that, tournagrip is indeed your friend.

^^ Wristband and Tournagrip.

Tacky and absorbent are mutually exclusive; Tourna Tac comes close, though.

I'm always thought my pams sweated more than anyone elese on the planet when I play and I've tried so many different overgrips I lost count a long time ago.

I keep coming back to Yonex SuperGrap - I think it does a great job if you can afford to keep replacing it regularly. Tournagrip was a fave until I found the SuperGrap.

The other overgrip I really loved - even better than the Yonex but you need to change it pretty much after a couple of sets, was Klip Python.

Or you could use the best of them all for sweaty hands - towelling grip. Nothing beats it but it's quite hard to find now.

Same for me. Switching from Tournagrip to Supergrap helped. I replace it after almost every match. Sometimes I have to use a tennis glove in the summer. The prince liquid grip stuff works pretty well too, but it is pricey.

got the same problem. good reason to have 2 racquets to switch between during play in addition to overgrips, towels, etc. thinking about carrying a few ounces of portland cement... that stuff really sucks moisture.

buy 4 of the same racquet double size (8 in) sweatbands and tournagrip. every change over (3 games) change racquet and sweatband. leave in sun. the grips will be dry by the time you get back to the first racquet.the sweatbands you will need to wash and drya dry sweatband absorbs sweat. once they get wet they dont help stop the sweat to getting to your hand
