His outfit looks badass, its a good fit for him. I'm sure there clothing is made out of a poly/cotton blend of some sort, so that it doesn't get heavy. I've got a few lacoste shirts for tennis and one is some weird materal, not cotton, but not a dri-fit.

I always thought Dupont created the technology behind the 'fabrics that take the sweat away from the body' and licensed it to the Nikes and Adidas's of the world and they gave it their own names, Dri-fit and Climacool. If Lacoste clothes don't feel as light and smooth as the Nike and Adidas counterparts, I don't think they'll have much luck in the US.

I give credit to Lacoste for signing him and trying to boost sales over here.

I'm still amazed there haven't been any TV commercials with Maria Sharapova selling Motorola cell phones. Why did they sign her if they're not going to use her?

Oh come on... Roddick transitioned well to net in his match vs. Rusedski yesterday and stuck his volleys. I think Roddick's trying to improve his net play with doubles.

Is Roddick playing doubles with Melzer? I think that's a smart, low-expectation move for him, just to get used to the movement and to work on the volley on clay, which you have to be able to do to close out points there.

Also, I think Andy will volley competently in doubles -- his problem in singles is more transition, grip change, and anticipation/positioning than it is technique -- but his weak service return will hurt him.

The big question is -- will Melzer break out that crazy two-handed drop shot in doubles play?
