Why don’t you just admit that you’re as biased as the next fanboy (in your case, a Novak Djokovic fanboy), but have much more time on your hands - presumably due to unemployment - to look up supporting statistics.

I don't agree with that. He played way above someone with a #9 ranking but he wasn't that good.
That's really selling short some impressive runs by Fed that were only denied by prime Novak. And honestly I think 15/16 Andy would've had a good crack at 2017 Nadal in Oz.
I don’t see 2014-15 Fed winning any big slam match. 2017 version took his game up a notch.

Players should check the ranking of their opponents through the tournament and if by the final it's not high enough they should refuse to play unless they are substituted.
If top3 are strong they make it to final stages of a tournament and you have to play them to win. If top3 are not that strong (in weaker fields anyone can beat anyone), they can be defeated in earlier rounds and you are not going to play them.

I commented on your motivations behind making such a thread. I could have started off with a similar judgment to yours (say, that Novak Djokovic had faced the weakest/ least successful young generation ever), and found stats to support it. But I don’t have time to do that, because I have a full time job and rich social life.

Try to manipulate statistics to demonstrate that Federer won GS against stronger field than Djokovic and Murray. It would be interesting to see that. I don't think that Lew II has anything against Federer. He stated many times that Federer is the GOAT, which is opinion I don't share with him. He is naturally frustrated if his statistics is not taken and discussed seriously, as it should be if people were interested in truth.

Has he? I'm pretty sure he's said that Novak Djokovic isn't yet GOAT, because he hasn't won the most slams. I don't recall him saying though that Federer is GOAT.
Of course his stats won't be taken seriously when he always finds ones which favour Novak Djokovic and demean Federer.
