All things Stefanos 'Tapas' Tsitsipas.

He is Tapas simply because he is just as delectable.

All his social media stuff, pictures and match results can be posted here. Appreciations for the Greek hottie welcome here.

We understand your intent calling Stephanos "Tapas" because of his surname.

But he is GREEK not Spanish! And his surname has three syllables not two.

If anything, he is "Mezedes" not "Tapas"! (Mezedes are even more delectable than Tapas)

YASOU!

:)
The rafan in me is incorrigible :p

Nice news:

Stefanos Tsitsipas’ grandmother spoke of her pride in her grandson’s achievements at the Australian Open in a touching interview from her village in central Greece on Wednesday.

Stavroula Tsitsipas, who lives in Proastio, near the town of Karditsa, heard the news on Tuesday of Stefanos’ advance to the Grand-Slam tournament’s semi-finals. The 20-year-old Greek player will face Rafael Nadal on Thursday.

“I cannot enjoy his success as much, because I am blind,” she explained in an interview published by the Greek newspaper Espresso.

“I consoled myself when Stefanos called me and said, ‘Grandma, I will come back soon, do not worry.'”

Stavroula Tsitsipas’ eyesight had deteriorated gradually for many years, and she has been completely blind for the last five years.

“I can’t watch on TV what he is doing. But I hear his voice, and I shed tears of pride,” the Tsitsipas family matriarch said with great emotion.

Stefanos Tsitsipas became the first player from the nation of Greece to make it to the quarterfinals of a major Grand Slam tournament, where he beat 37-year-old tennis legend Roger Federer.

I would like to officially register my application for certification into the Tsitsipas fan club. I hereby denounce bullsheet Russians the world over and pledge my allegiance to the cause of young Stefanos. My loyalty to this effort will be drawn into question only if I don't receive an official certificate/membership card within the next five working days.

You're in. It only requires me to give the nod :D

Seriously though. Great style, hopefully will tone down his social media stuff and fully focus on getting better :)

Ooh and I hope he keeps his flair and hair intact

You mean he is Greek, not Spaniard*. Spanish is an adjective, you can't say "he is Spanish". You can say "he is a Spanish guy". I think the word you were looking for is "Spaniard", which acts as a noun.

This is on the pro match section where the results are being discussed. This will have no spoilers. That way there is an Osaka news thread there and here. I leave it to the admins to take a call.
I think the most decent thing would be to use the threads already been made since others been fans of him longer than you.

Correct. Same rule for Swedish and Swede.

It's a shame that I have been called indecent for innocently starting a thread without being aware that there is another thread. This is absolutely insensitive on your part. I have only two options. I can ignore you which can be a truly 'indecent' on my part or quit these forums because of a bully like you. Thank you and best wishes for everything. I don't want anything to do with you in the future.

I’m not a bully.

It’s how it has been for a long time in here.
You are really arrogant now.

Azure, don't pay attention to TGoA.

She is looking to stir the pot.

There is no problem, and there has never been one in starting a thread about a player that you like.

When John McEnroe was commentating Novak's semi-finals, I heard him pronouncing Stephanos's last name like "sissy pass." That made me cringe. Did anybody notice it? Or was it just me hearing it?
