Sysop (or others): Flex Ratings

On some old racquet reviews (e.g., Prince Precision 690) there is a flex rating number given that is way different from a RA stiffness rating. What is the correlation between these two ways of measuring? What would the Precision 690's flex of 26 translate to in the RA world? Thanks.

longbody,
This flex rating would translate roughly into a mid 60's RDC flex rating. The racquet may have had an overall even softer feel than a score of 65 would indicate, as the RDC is a measure of upper hoop flex only.

Thanks,
Chris, TW.

Chris, thanks. I think I'm still a little confused on this subject though. On the Chang Graphite OS review it gives flex as 33 and RA stiffness as 60, but you translated the Precision 690 flex of 26 to an RA of mid-60s (i.e., a lower flex but higher stiffness). Are the flex and stiffness ratings measuring two different things, and am I trying to compare apples to oranges?
