Didn't hit anyone in the eye this time, but it's enough to send the dude packing.
Also, there's a commentator on a doubles challenger match???

To be fair, the guy looked like he was trying to hit the ball into the stratosphere like some other pros do it. He just effed up at the last moment and sent it straight into the crowd. Inexcusable behavior regardless.Moron is lucky he didn't seriously hurt someone in the crowd. Getting off easy with the default.

It's Mike Cation, pretty much the voice of the challenger tour.

It doesn’t really fly elsewhere. Imagine a surgeon launching his tools if frustrated while operating . How about a pilot doing a barrel roll after getting denied a requested ATC clearance. That would be fun.
I feel sorry for his partner. He's done nothing wrong and yet, in effect, gets defaulted as well!...
I don’t trust a challenger level player to control the ball within the court let alone directed off-court.
On the other hand, I would be honored to get hit by a ball launched by Rafa. VAMOS !

Wait....that challenger tour commentator is NOT Jimmy Arias???It's Mike Cation, pretty much the voice of the challenger tour.
Let’s not take the little money that these challenger players earn away from them. It’s a DQ and that’s that. He’s never going to make this mistake again. These aren’t spoiled millionaires you’re talking about, these are hard working passionate players who are barely able to break even.
Unlike the commentator, I don’t feel awful for Alex. This behavior needs to be nipped in the bud and it’s better to take the lesson now than at the higher levels.
Automatic default. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Who said anything about taking his money away ? Was he even fined ? If he was or will be fined I'd have no issue with it. Players need to stop doing this. He didn't get the memo after El Shapo hit an umpire in the eye ?

In any event, your proposing the idea that each player gets one freebie ? You can launch a ball that winds up going errant one time without risking a fine. Or that fines should account for a players individual finances ?

Umm.. you did? At least I assumed you're talking about prize money. Otherwise I have no idea what the heck you're saying here.
I never proposed any idea. The point is that people often applaud or at least condone things that a famous top player does, but find it easy to be harsh on the lesser known challenger player since they don't feel any sentimental attachment to them as they do to their favorite players. You also displayed that sentiment here:
Anyway, I see you're a Nadal fan so maybe I shouldn't expect too much common sense from you.
(accompanied to violin music) : Oh the poor dears, so put upon--having to play tennis ALL day--not really--getting pre and post event massages--customized racket stringing for their FREE rackets, free clothes, free shoes--free housing at millionaires mansions--free transportation--lounging about the players lounge texting--free food--adoring fans/groupies--YAH, your right--I wouldn't trade places with them in a NY minute--working at a car wash is SO much more rewarding--the poor down trodden dear--don't deprive him of his $200 for tattooing a spectator's stomach--OUCH!--"He's never going to make that mistake again."--Kyrigos learned his lesson from being fined--we'll see.
