I had to get on my tablet to upload. It was freaking out doing from a phone for some reason. Visually it's beautiful. Feels really good in the hands swinging through the air. Not sure yet when I'll play but I'm looking forward to it.

I would suspect you will go lower with the smaller head and denser pattern. You might try the same just for a direct reference.

There's a fair bit of power in the 6.1, go with your 48 first and blast away. If you enjoy control, you're going to absolutely love these frames.

Yep, I usually string at 50/48 and love how the stringbed feels after a week's break in. When the gut frays is where I seem to enjoy it best - I would guess 42-45'ish.

Rgarding string tension i always liked springy and not boardy type of feeling when I hit the racket. but its weird because last time in my 97S i strung it with 48 and 44 and both did not reward me with the feeling that i wanted which is springy and (vibrating). but before at those tension before the restrung it was springy i put it at 46 or 48 also. If any chance do you know what is the exact term because I cant seem to explain it to others. Hehehe

So I hit with the 18x20 in stock form today (stock grip, Sensation strings) and it was good but I didn't love it. It certainly had the maneuverability that I am familiar with from my PSC, HPS and NCode 6.1 16x18, but it felt... lower powered. I guess this is to be expected, that the 18x20 has less power / more control than my 16x18s. It also felt less solid and a little more hollow versus the earlier models I mentioned. But this could be because I haven't added a leather grip to the new racquet yet, which I plan to do this coming week. On all my other 6.1s I use a leather grip plus overgrip. I can say that my slice on the 18x20 was amazing. Didn't notice much of a difference in topspin. Versus the RF97, the 18x20 almost feels a bit flimsy. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but my RF97 (the black one) just feels like it is going to flatten the ball when I swing it. I only had an easy hit today, so had ample time to prepare my shots and did not feel any difference in maneuverability between the RF97 and the 18x20 (I have a OHBH). Maybe in an intense rally the 18x20 which has the same balance point but is lighter can swing faster...but not sure.
So, it will take some time to make a complete comparison. I will say that while the paintjob has a clean look and is good, I wish the red Wilson logo on the throat and the red bands at 3 and 9 were a slightly darker red (a real red - which is the color of the buttcap). The red that Wilson used is sort of pinkish red, kinda gives the racquet a feminine look. And Wilson should go back to glossy finishes. The soft, matte finish of the white paint looks a little cheap in my opinion. Probably just me but I definitely prefer the paintjobs of the PSC, HPS and Ncode.
I feel like I need to get the PSC 25th Anniversary now... but... I have too many damn racquets already...!!!

I've seen some pictures of Murray doing that long ago. I go sideways like lindstedt sometimes. I also spin the buttcap for E or 3 instead of M or W. After the first time nobody asks me to spin again.

BLX2 18x20 grommets fit to my liking. The drill pattern is the same as all previous so others may fit well too but not the parallel drilling.

What did your RF weigh? My four ranged from 351 to 366 with overgrips and all. 349 was the average weight for the 2014 blx3 18x20 but remember that is strung and no overgrips or dampener.
This does bring up a good thing to know, many versions of the 6.1 were sold with exceedingly light grips. This 2014 was sold with the sublime grip which is light and not terribly durable it is said to be 13g installed. Babolat skin feel is said to be 14g installed, it is thin but not as light as one might think.
For additional savings you could remove any silicone you find in the buttcap or if you have a one hand backhand you could trim the base grip and/or overgrip shorter. I use a leather grip and saved 6 grams.

My RF 97 was 358g without OG. Well it is near just like 4 grams difference but supposed to be 332 vs 340 maybe its due to Wilsons popular QC or because of 18/20?
How can I trim the base grip? originally my plan was to put leather grip in it but since im from Philippines where basketball is life and all other sports are non existent i choise babolat skin feel as what i got was 4 3/8 and what i wanted was grip 2 but i was just wondering why the increase in weight.
Also another question so if I put leather grip the 95 would be overall heavier than stock RF97 without OG?

Have a hit with the 6.1 - weight isn't the whole story. Balance, materials, distribution, beam width etc etc all affect how it feels. Surprisingly, I found that while the 6.1 on paper had a higher swing weight than the RF97 and indeed my earlier 90, how it all came together felt exceptionally wonderful at contact point. You never really know what a frame feels like until you're on the court.

Yes, I do think QC is involved. The RF strung average was supposed to be 357g, so yours was a bit under spec (unless there is a asian version as there were with the 90)
You could try two overgrips only instead of the skin feel, that should drop you a size and some weight.
I would hit with it before you go down this road, but I measured and marked the highest point I touch the grip and cut above that. My weight savings will be about as high as they can since I already had a heavy grip. It isn't pretty with the exposed handle, but it was what I needed.
I agree with @Hydrocella, hit with it and form your own opinions before you start adjustments.

And I agree @moon shot, its important to have that baseline from which you can begin to tinker around with the frame.
My personal advice is find a free wall, grab your racquet and over the 300-800 repetitions you'll get an idea of what the new frame feels like. Top Spin, Under Spin, Serve, Flat strokes, Buggy Whips - a wall is one of the best places to get an idea of what it is you've got in your hands.

Anyway! I've now rallied with the 95 but for just merely 30 mins as it rained
But from the first swing damn! Is it just me, honeymoon period, or psychological but it feels really light even at 361g!! Its like I dont feel the weight at all and its very whippy I can swing it so easily and feels really rock solid better than my PS97s! It is strung for me 44lbs. But agian i dont know if its just me or honeymoon period as Hydrocella said ill try about 800 shots so thats about a week! Awaiting your feedback gurus!!!

I have played with my new 6.1s 3 times now. The first time against 3.5 level players and I could do no wrong. The 2nd time against high level 4.0s; I played poorly but won 2 of 3 sets. Tonight, I played against mid level 4.0s and played ok but I still haven't got my timing with this racquet. I had been playing with the PS6.1c. It is a little heavy so I feel the new 6.1s would be the right weight and control type frame for me. The racquet is very manuverable, good control , handles heavy shots well. Power may be a little low but I have it string with TF NRG2-17 @ 54. I still need to get comfortable hitting with the racquet - it's a timing issue for me right now. I may need to change string type and tension also- any suggestions?

I have found that it feels most similar to the previous version (2014 Parallel Drilling). The new update, has a slightly firmer feel, but still quite comfortable and solid feeling. As I mentioned previously, that my old Six.One 95 racquets are fairly broken in, and may feel a bit more flexible from years of use, and re-stringing. Besides that, I still enjoy the pin-point precision that this update of the Six.One provides.

Wilson should confirm if it's going to happen. Personally it doesn't bother me but if you prefer opens, settle for buying 18x20 and then they launch the 16x18 you would feel bummed.
I doubt it will happen until fed retires because they probably worry that a 16x18 would eat into more profitable RF97 sales.
I would probably choose 18x20, I feel you get the best of both worlds stringing with thin poly at low tension.

there was a 16x18 option, however Wilson decides to only release the 18x20 to the market.

Have you tried a 18g> soft poly at low tension?
My experience is you need to be much more careful stringing an 18x20 but if you get it spot on they are awesome - you get everything. You could throw any string in the 16x18 and it should play ok, do that in the 18x20 and you can easily end up with a plank of ply board.
I would try something like 18g tour bite soft at under 50lbs...

6.1's aren't like most players frames which you really have to rip the ball with, they have loads of (controllable) power. Some shots like returning hard serves, putting away volleys are ridiculously easy. Only question is if you can handle the weight.

The weight wouldn't be an issue. Just mostly curious how forgiving they are. Is the sweet spot pretty big for a 95? Some 95's play a little bigger than others. Others play closer to a 98.

Lead at 3&9 and misshits on full poly are shrugged off in the right direction. Stock it's a big sweet spot as dgoran said but can be a bit belligerent about framed balls.
