Hi Jim, no not really, after i spoke with the former owner of Donnay International Mr. Nardelli i had a feeling i was on to something, he gave me the name of the former general manager of Donnay in Belgium but i can't seem to track him down, according to him he's the man we need.
Anyway, i don't give up...

ps: Steve is a nice guy but he don't know anything about Donnay ;-)

Original 2, the PC1 and the PC12, basically the same racket apart from the weights added to the 12.

in the early 90's Donnay used the name again for another 4 rackets using the name pro cynetic 1, 2, 3 and 4 but nothing like the original and much stiffer.

BTW, I just got back from playing tennis with today's choice, the GT25. Fantastic racquet! I just got it, so I haven't had time to get stats yet, but it feels sweet...

yes the GT25 is wonderful racket, lots of control and rock solid.

When i have the time i will post a lot more codes if you want, i have manyyyyyyy!
Anyway, about the codes, i finally have some insight.
It was basically an inventory code, there is some logic in the codification for short time period but not much. Some models have a code some models don't.
The codes started at about 1976 on wood models and ended in the early 90's.
Note that Donnay also numbered some very early woodies (not a code but a number).
