Nadal had to pull out of the OZ because of his knee, apparently it's nothing serious but something needs to be done about his style. Federer is rolling with his sweet 16 slams and murray playing good. This leaves me thinking about what will happen in summer? If Nadal can't start playing like he was a couple of years ago, he is going to drop out of the top 3 for good. Guys like Cilic, Delpo and even perhaps roddick are playing insane tennis. So, who is gonna win in paris? OR who is going to be in the final with federer? Davydenko has been smashing everyone in the last 3-4 months. Fed managed to overcome this (luckily). But does he have the game to consistently beat top-ranked players? RF seems almost obvious to win wimby, its just nature. Please post your opinions. Will nadal be okay by summer? Will he be playing well? Is monfils ever going to get into a final? Cilic to be the next no.1? There's alot happening :)

I hate to look into the future, as really there are no really attacking players after Fed, and no artistry either. Tsonga is doing a bit of that, but ...

The coaches didn't learn an iota after Sampras, and they haven't learned anything in several years of Federer.

They prefer to let their charges play boring, defensive, unspectacular, tennis, and to get their paychecks for looking away from this monstrosity. Easy, eh?

Thanks heavens there's still Fed around, to wash my eyes from the dirt.

No attacking players? Murray and Roddick are really the only defensive players in the top 10 (and Murray showed his aggressive side in 3rd set today and is working hard to improve; Roddick still comes to net a lot and has monstrous serve). I think u could criticize the lower half of the top 10 (Delpo Davy Tsonga Soderling Cilic Verdasco) of being TOO aggressive and not playing the percentages enough.

There are lots of attacking players, but the tour could do with more variety. I mean, Cilic, Djokovic, Del Potro, Soderling, Verdasco.. for the tennis fanatic, there are obvious differences, but far from as obvious as the differences between Sampras, Agassi, Chang and Henman. Or Nadal, Safin, Federer and Hewitt.

Well, Nadal looks like '07 all over again, and fed is lying in his bed somewhere sleeping.....French open looks to be good for the spaniard.
I don't see delpo winning another slam although cilic could be in for the US open.....
