Thin beam with stable hoop

So out of interest i want to know....... whats a thin beam racquet with a very stable hoop? ie none of the "flutter" and slight twisting you often get with the thinner beams?

Is if theres a thin beam ( under 22mm is "thin" for me) out there that offers the hoop stability of a wider beam racquet?

For me, the RF97A has a stable hoop, and is 21.5 mm.

The TC 97 felt very stable to me for its specs. The Blade also is pretty stable for a thinner beam.

Generally though... gotta go up on the swing and twistweight, no?

If looking into the Blade 98, and you like CV then the 98 CV.

If you like the blade, thin beam, minus the CV Blade 98L- plenty of room to customize and weight up

Angell TC95 is 19-20mm tapered tip to grip TC100 is a little thicker The TCline real does have low hoop deformation and its part of their power and spin secret... they dont bleed off the energy with flutter.

Thanks guys. Surprised to see the princes and angells in here, been a while since I had an angell but didn’t expect that.

Not a fan of blades at all, the cv felt like I was hitting with a lump of wood. Though agree they do fit the description.

Dunlop Aerogel 200 Tour is perhaps the most stable racquet I've hit with. Too much swingweight for this little lady, but stable.

As always, I’ll add my seemingly unpopular opinion that the TC95 flutters on off center contact without lead at the sides. It may be an unusual howitzer for the type of frame it is, but I wouldn’t consider it stable as it is.

I tend to agree. I got great results with my TC95, but it definitely needed some lead. If not for the horrible feel I probably would have kept it.
