This is why I like to see a Federer vs Nadal final!!!

I know people fight on TT about Nadal this Federer that but you can't tell me that watching a final without these two is good for the sport. Everybody has to understand these guys aren't going to be around forever. I wouldn't mind if every Grand Slam final had them playing each other. They bring out the best in each other. I know people get tired of seeing them but come on. As a tennis fan (playing and watching) you can't beat the '07,'08 Wimbledon or '09 Aussie Open. Just look at every grand slam final in the past 5 years that they are not playing each other. Boring!!!!! Of course I am typing this while Fed and Delpo are only in the second set but it doesn't look good for Delpo or us tennis fans that want a great final.

Agreed. DelPo is even more afraid of Federer than Murray and Djokovic in the years prior. I thought Del Potro would be stronger mentally for some reason.

Delpo is so tight he can do absolutely nothing except push the ball back so Federer can pounce at will. Just pathetic.

What happened to the guys who believe they deserve to win?

Federer defeated Murray, 6-2, 7-5, 6-2. At least, Djoker put up a fight and had a couple of set points at USO in 2007.

Good for Delpo. Never said I didn't like him. I was just saying other than this past Wimbledon that the GS finals the past couple of years haven't been much without Fed playing Nadal. I didn't really care who won today. I just wanted somebody else other than Nadal or Fed, like a Roddick and now a Delpo, to step up and play a good final and HE DID. Good for him!
