Does anyone have experience w/this line of strings, tieronesports.com. From what I can tell their strings are available only through direct sales via the web site.

I just ordered Ghostwire 17g to Cross with Triax 16g on the mains... Will also try with other strings such as Velocity MLT & TNT2 React Pro to see if snapback on those string is better that fullbed of the same string and in the case of TNT2 React Pro to remove some of the mushiness. Also ordered Ghostwire 19g for FULL BED Low Tension Experiment @ maybe 30 lbs.

Multiple people say the BLACK KNIGHT is a better RPMBLAST at half the price. Heard good things about FIREWIRE/FIREWIRE BOOST as well but im not ever going the full poly route (other than the Low tension experiment which I think will be a fail but I want to try anyway)

Why are you stringing at 59? BK in the mid to high 40s is superb. My set had over 12 hours on it and was still playing very well.
When I got the racquets back both BK and Strike Force RIP were at 48lbs, not sure what happened. And now they’re at 42 and 45 respectively (~8 vs 0.5 hours playing, strung about a week ago).

Ok, but why are you stringing them at 59? Unless you are like a 5.0+, that tension isn't doing you any favors.

As I mentioned, BK plays very well for me but I'm not at anywhere near the kind of tension you are trying to use. I actually just switched from Hyper G Soft to BK because of the performance advantage.

I'm a 5.0+ and string it at 48.

It's all preference and play style. Some of ya'll are so closed-minded and opinionated here

Black Knight full bed is a great string for performance but feel is lacking. Anybody try to hybrid it? I tried it with ghostwire crosses and it was no good.

Firewire Boost has more spin. I'd say it has slightly more power and slightly less control than Black Knight. Both are excellent strings.
Thanks, i really meant Firewire, just found out boost is hybrid. If i hybrid Firewire with X-1 biphase, would that work well ?

Try the Firewire Boost hybrid first. The Ghostwire is the softest poly I've found and it is super smooth. It's a perfect cross for the sharp Firewire mains.

Topspin.

How low do you think is too low to play with? I play with dead strings at like 34lbs since I didn't restring for a couple of months and honestly, it plays perfectly fine as long as I play with enough topspin. There is more power at lower tensions and control on flat shots can be erratic but these are the only downsides for me. What do you think?

i can't,,, Head rackets can't serve and are horrible at serviing

I think Goran and the Philipper would respectfully disagree with you there, Prestige Mids have been bombing aces for decades. I consistently serve my best with the 360+, if I had to serve for my life that’s what’s coming out of the bag.

Just tried Babolat Gut and Firewire hybrid. Extremely impressed by this. played 2 hours, fairly hard hitting. Firewire has great tension maintanance plus great control. Power and spin was in par with Tourbite, i felt like. but this string had better control. Also the string bed felt bit stiff but it didn't really hurt my arm. and Gut saw little bit of fraying but not too bad. I could probably get 6 hours of play from this hybrid before breaking. I am overall very impressed. i think i will hybrid with cheaper multi string next and see how that performs
