You know you write with such carefulness, civility, and moderation, I'm not sure I even care what you think.

In this place, I'm just grateful you argue with a brain.
Thank you, that's high praise coming from you, one of the most rational, articulate posters on TTW.

I've gotten into enough political debates to learn never to overreach when I'm making an argument.

Parodying the Djokovic fanbase at will, but USO is an "idiot?" Double standard, much?

Ok, I'm sorry, obsessed idiot. And you come into Djokovic threads pretending to be nice and all, but then you go around, hate and type loads of c#ap every chance you get lol.

I've noticed and commented on this too.

He's the exception that proves ******** fans aren't disliked simply for being ******** fans.

What would have happened, thanks to the draw, if they had met in the semi-finals of Wimbledon 2015, in the same instance at RG 2016 and in the fourth round of the 2020 Australian Open?

And Stan was over30 in his wins, while over30 Fed was too old to beat Novak :X3:
Stan is like 4-5 years younger than Federer.

Novak is six years younger than Federer.

Meanwhile Fed pretty much has no trouble w Stan anywhere.

Match ups right? :X3:

Federer could have retired years ago, he was playing way past his prime. Let’s see the next 5 years of Djokovic, already in a couple of months he had four losses against Thiem, Medvedev, Sonego and Nadal. :giggle: The year 2021 and beyond will be very embarrassing for Djokovic and will make Federer’s last few years look even the more impressive. ;) But in the meantime remember that 20 > 17. :giggle:
I don’t know what Novak’s next years will bring, but it’s amazing how many people around here act as if Federer is in Novak’s generation.

And not six years older.

As well as forget Federer never had much trouble with Novak in his own peak years, yet Novak’s peak was full of trouble with Federer, losing at RG 11, WB 12, and at USO facing match points- all against a post-prime Fed.

Meanwhile just last year Fed had match points at WB, and routined Novak at WTF at 38!

Quite a selective memory around here.

But Stan certainly deserves credit for all 3 of his (completed) wins (both benefitted from 1 retirement so they're still even) and for making the 3 losses instant classics. He redlines his game against Djokovic in a way he rarely ever does against Federer or Nadal. (Doesn't mean Stan OWNS Djokovic or is evenly matched, the fact remains that 19-6 is 19-6 is 19-6.)
In no small part due to the match-up differences.

Stanimal has caused Nole more grief than the average player.
But to call Nole his pigeon is laughable.
He only started beating Nole in 2014, and only for a brief window, that is now closed.
Nole also gave Stan a bagel at 2015 AO.
2019 USO Nole was injured, and couldn't hit his 2hbh.

4 out of the last 5. Let's pretend 2013 was baby Stan, right?

3-4 since 2013 against a guy that has massive peak and mostly plays on his terms due to losing early otherwise. Big fking deal.

Yeah.

There are others too - NoleFam and Nole Slam are non-trolly/non-haters. They Engage intelligently here.

Like Hitman
For some Novak fans here - not all of them - imagining that would be too hard on their Fed-bashing.

BTW - I don’t think @Nole Slam was being serious.
You know me too well. I think I've praised the GOAT many times so it should be easy to see when I'm not really serious.

Anyway, if you decided to make fun of Djokovic, I'd laugh. So yeah, the poster makes a difference.

These matches hurt everyone so bad :-D

how is this relevant in the context of Wawrinka - Djokovic H2H?

we could as well bring the double 40-15 that happened recently, at an indoor RG, with heavy balls, and conditions that heavily favored a certain #1 player in the world, and yet the double 40-15 ended up in a bagel.
apparently Novak likes bakery products, he also eat one from the hand of a semi-retired old man in the W19 final. Quite embarrassing, isn't it?

Djokovic still won that Wimbledon title while being served a breadstick. I think he takes it.

did he also win that FO where he was double 40-15 and served a bagel on top of it?
in spite of all conditions favoring him heavily?
isn't it frustrating to receive a bagel from someone in whose head Novak apparently lives rent-free?

The conditions were supposed to help Djokovic chances of winning, it didn't heavily favour him over Nadal to win the match. I think your head is spinning a little bit, take a moment to quiet down. That favouritism was still on Nadals side cause its clay and PC.

Federer 2019: 63 matches played
Djokovic 2019: 68 matches played

Yes, Federer is apparently semi retired. Get your facts straight :D

go talk to Ivanisevic about it.
or read the Novak interview where he said that Nadal is beatable on clay.

either way.
double 40-15 and a bagel.

what is he supposed to do when the field is so weak? retire at match points?
was he supposed to retire from WTF at the match point vs Novak perhaps instead of "spanking" him?

thank you for pointing how weak is the field.
weaker than in 2003-2007.

What is important is what Novak said, not his coach. This is what he said:“It’s [Rafael] Nadal. Even though he lost this week, I still think a lot of people will agree, he's the No. 1 favourite and the record that he has there, the history of his results, you just can't put anybody in front of him,” Djokovic said.

No one is unbeatable, so I don't see what is wrong with saying someone is beatable. Yet again, your statements are fabricated to suit your agenda. Just like federer being semi retired is another statement taken out of your ass. I have exposed you once again.

Hahahaha you are wandering up in the clouds again. You said Federer is semi retired as some sort of knock against Djokovic, yet he is playing just as much as Djokovic does.

At USO 2010 and 2011, Fed was 29 and 30, very near to his peak while Novak was just entering his: losing twice from 2-0 sets, 4 MP down is unheard of for ATGS.

Novak's defeats at RG11 and W 2012 sting, but again Roger wasn't very far from his peak and prove that peak for peak, Roger was probably a better clay and grass player than Novak.

After that, Novak dominated during the important matches, but conceded here and there a fluke defeat especially after his elbow surgery.
