The Venus Williams one was the closest to being true. She won her last Wimbledon the month after turning 28.

And Federer 31 was a damn good guess, it was right for 4-5 years.

Back in 2006 prime play was 20-25, male players rarely won slams at 28-29, let alone in their 30s.

Hence why I wouldn't mock this poster. He couldn't possibly have known that the 30s would become the new 20s and that an entire generation (1989-onwards) would be completely unable to stop the 30something generation (1981-1988).

How can the youngsters stop the greatest players of all time? No offense, but it is far easier to stop Agassi, Sampras, McEnroe or Lendl than any member of the Big 3. Don't expect every new generation to bring a player as talented as the Big 3. That is unrealistic.

With that being said, Khachanov played great against Nadal at the USO, but Nadal is not Agassi, Lendl or McEnroe, so it was not enough. Outside Slams, Khachanov stopped Djokovic in Paris and Zverev stopped both Federer and Djokovic in the ATP finals. So they are starting to stop the Big 3 in non-Slams. Whether they can stop them in Slams is yet to be seen.

No, it wasn't. It was never right. Federer didn't win a Slam at 31. 30 years, 11 months is not 31.
