F1 2010s onwards became more about who has the fastest car, Lewis always had that with mercedes, but if you look at Schumacher's era or 90s or 80s then it was more competitive back then and drivers had to be more skilled to actually overtake the person ahead, so I would not agree entirely with Ronnie Sullivan. That having said, of course you need a competitive car to win but then the best drivers will always drive with a great constructor, they will find their way to it. You wont find someone truly great and in their prime driving a slow car, plus driving is a skill too, so it is lot easier for Ronnie to talk like that disrespecting people who are better drivers than he could ever be.
