I guess in 2008 no one strung below 50 lbs as there is no poll option for it. I’m glad that it is better known now that most polys play well in the low-mid forties and are more comfortable.
I'm playing with a Blade 104 at 59 with gut strings due to rotator cuff surgery. I'm looking for as much control as i can get. I want to try below 50, but gut is expensive.

Natural Gut in a 104” frame I would have to go 65 or so for control. Have played full bed gut in 95” frames and had to go 60lbs for control. Sweet set up for sure.

Makes sense. Don't see many stringing logs now where anyone goes north of 55. 55 is about as tight as your seeing a pro with modern mechanics use, especially with string and racquet technology being so much more conducive to lower tensions.
