What will happen with tennis when The Big 3 retire?

I have a strange feeling about this.

It seems like we will wait decades to witness something similar like today. The last 10 years and maybe the next 3-4 years will be a period of time with records in tennis that will last for an eternity. We had Federer and Nadal, we have Djokovic now. They might end up as the 3 best tennis players this game has ever seen. GS records (total, RG, AO), weeks #1, Masters titles, WTF titles, so many matchups between them.

Will we ever see something like that again? Or will tennis die in a couple of years?

Op tennis will found some new star , may be little late but it will, it is a cycle which always goes on.
Then we fans of big three will debate who was better in former players forum.

They have won so much not because they are so great but because the rest of the players in this era are crap. In the 90s and before that you always had about 10 great players at the same time.. And because of the slow surface and robotic same style tennis i will no longer watch tennis in the future.. And the boring rallies will not entertain crowds and future generations and they will do different sports. I know it sounds negative but i am really worried, almost given up... At my level and playing myself is great, but pro level is pretty much dead...

Can you please pick any year in the 90s and identify the 10 top players? I doubt you can. 1990 is probably only year with solid players.

The tour will take a hit. I see some 250 events dying; prize money contracting at 500s and maybe even 1000s. The Asia Swing especially- since they have no homegrown players - the events will see huge drop offs in interest. Hate to say it but in my 12 years straight of going to tournaments there, most of the fans are bandwagon hoppers of the top guys. Many have told me when their favorite retires, they're done with tennis.

Im already getting depressed over this!! Thats why even though im a Nadal fan ive decided to cherish Djokovic as he the last of the true greats left at or near their peak.

This I guess like 90%+ of the threads has been beaten to death already but apparently you haven't heard.

They're shutting down the tour after The Big 4 retire (they're still going to run it out so long as Murray sticks around) . It's been planned for already and all the pieces are in place.

Of course, this is barring the election of Ted Every One Hates Me for a Good Reason Cruz, Donald the Clown or the Fat Guy from Jersey. In such an event anything may happen though the state of the tennis tour should be the last thing to concern you irrespective of your nationality.

Tennis will be dead. It will be like deadlands while tennis awaits for the next talented star and dominant force. Right now, I hear lots of fans complaining instead of appreciating what we got to witness the last 10 years. It will never and I mean never happen again. It was the perfect storm that came to fruition but almost impossible to be duplicated.
