Last three matches:

Lost 7-6 6-1 to ATP #240 Popko
lost 7-5 7-6 to junior Searle
lost 6-2 6-1 to #1061 Joel Schwaerzler. Who???:-D

and overall on the year he is 2-10 including challenger losses.

what is happening to Mullet man?
Why the Schwaerzler diss. Schwaerzler hit a career high #792 this week. At least he’s going in the right direction. He’s only 18 and barely on tour for a year.

Schwärzler deserves his own thread. He is the next big thing from Austria and was Juniors Nr 1 last year.
I am expecting big things from him. He has def more potential than his Coach Melzer.

If you can attest he’s legit good and @Sudacafan certifies your post then I will be happy to make a thread just for Schwarzler.

JJ Wolf is an example of how tough it is to grind out the tour, even if your level is there at times.

also, he needs to fix his serve

Legend
That challenger in Savannah is like a death swamp for American players, Wolf (1) Mmoh (2), Kypson (3), Quinn, and Kudla (4) all out first or second round. At least Tristan Boyer (6) is into the third round, although I don't really know who he is.

Edit: according to google he's 22, played at Stanford, and went from 1500 to top 200 in a year on the tour, I'm impressed.

has legit weapons but he's simply too inconsistent...low margin game, it's a percentage business unless you're roger federer, pete sampras etc.

tennis is tough man, everybody's good. small margins. takes something special to separate from the pack and he's shown flashes of it, but just not quite there.
