People have a weird perception of how crazy winning 10 majors is. Same thing when Osaka won #3 & #4, people were claiming she'd go on to win 10, 15, or 20. Still could happen, but I think it's still way, way unlikelier that she will. Same with Raducanu.

I would like to be wrong but I can’t see Raducanu winning another slam. I can’t see Federer winning another slam either. But, it’s much more likely for Federer to win one more than for Raducanu to win 9.

Too much can go wrong for #10 to be likelier than #21. Federer, as past-it as he seems, still wasn’t even close to being the best his limits will allow him to be (even at 40) yet made the QF’s of his last major. A favourable draw here, a nervy opponent there…who knows.

Mathematically, adding one slam, even for Geriatric-er is easier than 9 more for Raducanu. That said, Fed looked really, really done at Wimbledon. So I don't know if he has any tricks left up his sleeve at this point. So no vote - both look improbable at this point.

Can beat bums on a bad knee, shown in 2016/2021 Wimbledon what a Hobbled Federer can do.

Just needs the draw to open.

If I had to guess neither will happen but honestly Raducanu's 10th pretty easily. Surprised it isn't leading this poll by more. I would be split on picking between Serena's 24th and Raducanu's 10th at this point.

Osaka could still wind up with 10 eventually, that is not that far fetched. And honestly Raducanu is probably more likely to than Osaka.

And all that said I don't believe Raducanu will win 10 slams. This is just in comparision to Federer winning another slam, and it doesn't take much to beat those odds which are something less than 1%.

Whilst Emma is unlikely to win 10 Grand Slam titles, there is practically a 0% chance that Roger will win another Grand Slam.

Emma definitely has a greater chance, because it's impossible to divide by zero.

Whose chances of winning another Cram are greater:

Federer's? Or Murray's?

Fed's last chance to win 21 was 40-15. He shouldn't even bother returning to the tour but he's a money hungry attention seeker so he will be back to embarrass himself further.

It's been 'trivialised' somewhat with a declined 30s Djoker roflcoptering all the way to the bank with eight slams in three and a half years on the road to matching two other clowns that racked up 20.

Has any tennis player ever succeeded in the movie/showbiz industry?

As a leading star? No. But I think what Kyrgios is doing in Australia now is a decent guide for what we could expect.

Maybe I'm wrong and she just wants to slit throats on the court.

What a weird thread.

Both are unlikely, but for very different reasons. Raducanu is still an unknown quantity in many ways. Too many uncertainties.

With Fed, he realistically has at most one chance, next year's Wimbledon. And a lot of things would have to go right at that one tournament.

So I guess I'd go with Raducanu winning ten to be more likely, if one of them was to happen at all. But I would be happy to be wrong. :D

LOL. Federer at 21 by a country mile.

There is exactly a ZERO chance that Radacanu wins 10 slams. Hell, she may not even win 1 more. Lucked out BIG TIME in the UsOpen 2021.

Fed OTOH may win WImbledon in the future. It is unlikely but NOT impossible.

Emma Rad winning 10 slams is EXACTLY IMPOSSIBLE. 0% chance.

I agree that winning 10 slams is a massive task but not quite sure how winning 10 matches in straight sets in a commanding fashion is considered "lucked out". She showed huge mental strength in deciding moments. I would argue that she definitely has that X factor that is needed to win another or multiple slams.

I get it: Neither is likely to happen.
But many wrote Roger off from finishing with more than 17.
I don't think he'll get another, but if his body (and the draw) cooperates at WC, and he's serving lights out, why not.
...
Emma is incredibly impressive, and I think she has a bright future, but only 5 women have won 10-plus slams in the OE: Serena, Steffi, Navaratilova, Evert and Court. It's simply not an easy task. Some of the great players who have not done it (for whatever reason) include: Seles, Henin, Hingis and V Williams.
...
If forced to bet, then Federer.
But I'd take my chances on Emma getting to 5 over Fed getting to 21.
Or Emma getting 10 over Roger getting 22.
But if Roger does that, I won't be that shocked. Would you be?

One is likely, given the sorry shape of women's tennis.

One is mission impossible. Despite the constant gripes about weakest era ever for men's tennis (principally from Fedfans themselves}, there are so many good young players coming up, who would beat current Federer easily at Slams, like Hurkacz at Wimbledon.
