On the whole, tennis commentators are the worst of all sport commentators. Some of them don't seem to watch tennis a lot they just turn up with their crib sheets with have no context. Kyrgios knows he doesn't have to deliver; he knows they want young people to follow tennis because of him.

McEnroe the other day admitted to not knowing who a professional inside the top-120 was. It's literally his job to know about tennis. The lack of preparation or care is embarrassing. Former tennis pros chase these color commentary jobs because it is an easy paycheck. In the NFL they actually have to work to keep these jobs because it's very competitive.
