roddick is probably high on lots of people's lists cos he's so friggin' apple pie/white boy next door/abercrombie-ish . . . and that's a big look these days.

i'll say safin and kiefer, cos they got some game, and they're a bit nuts.
I was always wondering way so many people are crazy about Roddick. He's not exactly good looking or handsome, but what you say does make sense.
Safin is handsome, but I think it's more a look which attracts females and not gay men but I might be wrong.
I have a friend I hit with from time to time and he actually likes the looks of Dima and Robredo (when he had still short hair), but of course this is a subjective preference and doesn't say much. ;)

Oh good, well here's one that I can definitely answer, myself being gay and am from the USA (put this in because there isn't one American on my list). And this is strictly looks, absolutely nothing to do with playing performance. And has nothing to do with personality. These are the 5 I like best.

1. Tim Henman - Is Clean cut and to me has been one of the most handsome people on tour. Also has the boyish look while being mature. He's only 4 years younger then me and have thought he was handsome from a teenager up through now.

2. Lleyton Hewitt - Blonde/Brown hair, blue eyes, and will probably have the boyish face for quite a while.

3. Richard Gasquet - Opposite of the first two (though he's the youngest of these 3), face is more mature, darker hair and eyes.

4. Xavier Malisse - Very mature looking, great face. Actually looks good with long hair when pulled back. Not to sure about the facial hair (whatever they call it when it's just the chin), I think that needs to go

5. Guillermo Coria -Great face, does need to keep his hair short to be on the list.

If older players can be considered. Put Stefan Edberg in at number 2 and bump everyone else down 1.

Looked at the link someone put up with the rainbow network. Can't believe that Becker, Agassi, Sampras, Rusedski and Federer are on this list. I mean Rusedski, please (BARF). And Becker (Close to Barf). Roddick is the closest to an American making my list (but he's still way down on the list). Federer is a brilliant tennis player, but playboy looks, Nope. Nadal does look good, but only when the hair is wet and the headband is on.

I would think just like any group of people, it's pretty subjective. Some people like some, some like the looks of others. I can see the great appeal of Becker, he has a certain sort of confidence or something that obviously women also like since they have sex with him in broom closets. Malisse on the other hand, has a huge triangle head and looks like an alien to me, and not a nice looking one. Pretty game, but that all that is good looking about him. And he seems like a complete nut job on top of that, and that isn't appealing to me.

Dude. Just because a guy wore a hideous pink shirt doesn't mean that gay people want to crawl all over him. I can't believe how many people suggested Hrbaty in this thread.

I wonder why gay guys wouldn't have the hots for Safin! He's def a good looking guy...even all the straight guys on this forum will admit that.

I don't say gays don't like the looks of Safin, but from what I've heard and read - many gay man don't consider Safin the best looking guy or the one they want to make out with first, where as way more females are attracted by his looks. Of course that proves nothing, it's just an observation I made.

Part 2 .

Ronnie Arias: When you were a ball boy who did you dream of being like?
Rafa: I've always liked sport... I played football... I played tennis... I went in for all sports..... up until now (nervous selfconscious laugh) things have turned out pretty well for me in tennis.... but I've never had an idol I fixed on or anything like that... I've always tried to do my own thing and enjoy myself doing it, which is the most important thing when you are young, and that's where it all begins, isn't it?

R.A.: You started out as "the nephew of" and now your uncle is "the uncle of"...
Rafa: It's another sport altogether. He was a good player. But, in any case, I'm a different person. I don't think it (the comparison) is good for either of us.

R.A.: We've brought along a series of implements to see what Rafa Nadal's technique is like. (Produces huge bag and takes two table tennis bats out of it) Given my level and my height, this will ....
How do you hold the racquet? (Rafa takes the bat and stands up dwarfing Ronnie) Look what a big guy he is!!.... Now let's... Do you use your left hand for everything?
Rafa: No, just for playing tennis!.... How do you want me to hit it? Backhand? For that I use both hands... (big grin) and they just don't fit on here (the bat is quite lost in his hands!)
R.A.: EVERYTHING about him is SO ENORMOUS!!.

R.A.: Tell me, have you ever bitten the dust?
Rafa: (big grin) Well, I've fallen over lots of times but I don't think I've bitten the dust yet!

R.A.: Back in the studio, I've got two (female colleagues) that are in love with you. Could you autograph one of the bats for Llum and one for Nuria. They're both dying with love for you! .... For Nuria first... you know she's just about to have a baby and has a real bump... and the other for Llum, who's the youngest.... I don't mean to be vulgar, but could you autograph these balls for me too?!... (Holds up signed bats to camera) Here you are girls!

R.A.: What's the strangest thing you've ever been asked to sign your autograph on?
Rafa: I don't know... I've signed cellulars, shoes...
R.A.: Have you got anybody's autograph?
Rafa: Yes, I've got Raul's, Ronaldhino's... Torres'. I'd never ask anyone for an autograph on a piece of paper or anything like that... but if I have their shirt and if they'll autograph it and write a dedication to me, I'm thrilled.

R.A.: What would really thrill me is to see if it's true you have one arm bigger than the other! (produces tape measure)
Rafa: Of course I have!
R.A.: (To camera, stroking Rafa's arm) Nuria, Llum, this is something you're never ever going to have... (giggles) nor me either!! (Proceeds to measure Rafa's left bicep) I can't reach round it! ... 40cm! ... and the other one? Here we go... 32!

R.A.: Well, as we've put you to so much trouble, we've brought you a present! (produces a small blue dumbbell)... It's just the one arm that needs it, so get working like crazy on that right arm!

Ronnie finished up by thanking Rafa, "el numero uno".

Back in the studio, Ronnie handed over the autographed bats and ball to his delighted colleagues and remarked on how marvellous Rafa's skin is - both in colour and texture....

Yeah, and Howard Stern asks every woman on his show to take off her top. And most of them do. Just goes to show that they are always those kinds of shock sort of hosts, gay and straight. Though I don't know of any gay ones as trashy as Howard Stern.

Safin is hot but suprisingly, not lots have mentioned anything about Juan Carlos Ferrero.

Nadal is getting hotter as he gets older.

Roddick is too over-rated in my opinion, so no offence to all A-Rod's fans.

Only reason Safin wasn't on my list is because his hair is usually a mess. Too much of it, better if he cut it. Especially in one of the recent pictures where a small amount was a put in an elastic near the top of the head. I nicknamed it the sumo wrestler look.

I agree with you presenter was a freak, and Nadal should have just left. And the public wonders why tennis players, heck any sport athlete hates doing interviews.

If I had been Nadal, I'd punch the presenter out as soon as my arm got stroked.
