Who will be the heir to Djokovic's throne?

I am betting on Medvedev for some reason.

I can't exactly pin point what will make him successful but he has the serve the defense and the quirkiness.

His strokes aren't really ideal for the surface but out of the next gen, whose really any good on grass?

Meddy to take forward the Djokovic legacy and win a couple of them.

I guess Medvedev. Bautista Agut would’ve won Wimbledon in 2019 if not for Big3, so you really don’t need much volleying skills. Just hit flat and wait for Big3 to injure themselves/get DQed/retire.

Though it might be too late for Medvedev by the time this happens, as someone who we’re not aware of emerges.

Honestly, I got Shapo. He's got the flatter forehand and one hander. Perfect for the surface

In theory, I'd think Zverev's game is perfect for grass. Hard to say whom it'll actually be. I think all 5 will have a shot to prove their mettle. I will say, I think Thiem is the least likely from this group, imho.

I like Jannik Sinner's chances at Wimbledon. He hits the ball really solid and his composure and the maturity of his game are remarkable.

Also, I would not write off Tsitsipas because his net game and approach shots are played often and have improved.

I can only see Tsitsipas or Auger-Alliasme doing well as of right now, Medvedev is a big question mark.
Yeah these two are my guess. Specifically Tsitsipas. I know people aren't impressed with his progress but I feel like he'll figure it out, on grass especially.

Bc Medv plays like Djokr (moves well w/ very high shot tolerance), no weaknesses , a better serve, and sometimes 2 1st serves.

Medv for me too bc he's proven he can beat the best by going undefeated at WTF20.
Sinner could be a threat, but he's still young and so is not yet proven.

the answer to this is not very straightforward........a lot of factors to be taken into consideration.........firstly what changes are to be brought in at the tournament in the coming years will play a big role, i mean the grass and the balls........will they speed up again reducing the rye content, or they still prefer durability over surface speed........secondly a lot of next gen players haven't really accomplished the movement requirements of grass and are facing issues with footing on the surface, they are still kind of getting used to sustaining their level of play from other surfaces to this surface.........

given the massive prize money these players enjoy these days even at non-slam events, i am not sure anyone from the next generation is really ready to take all that pain of developing themselves on grass for just one tournament to be played on grass in a year.........so motivation is a factor as well........i do not see anyone convincing on grass from the next gen, so will not pick anyone but just say this much that whoever serves big and moves well on the surface will always be in with a chance after the big 3 are done winning wimbledon........

The self-styled "Greek God", largely on the back of a WTF (fast indoor surface) win in fine style where he bested the grass GOAT (not Djoker) no less. Of all the NextGens, he plays a creative, attacking game closest to Fed's (though not really close, just lack of competition in this aspect) and appears comfortable up at the net. Can't help but root for him since he's entertaining and stylish to watch in an era of mostly one-dimensional big bashing from the baseline.

Madvedev is turning out to be a strong bet everywhere.

Sinner I like because he just seems to hit clean, hard, smart, and goes about his business.

Maybe Tsocrates if he can deign to rough it amongst mere mortals for 2 weeks.

BernieGOAT will get a wildcard and carve through to r3.

The surprise will be Verdasco though. THIS time he's not gonna let me down.

Murray will enter the WTA draw as Andrea hoping to vulture a slam, but will lose in r1 anyway because he sucks

Medvedev=Tsitsipas>Zverev>Thiem
I feel Tsitsipas has huge potential there but mentally he isn't too solid so put him equal to Medvedev, zverev has huge potential as well

Not sure why people are voting for Tsitsipas. Just because he has a one hander? He's much more of a clay courter and hasn't shown much aptitude on grass.
