Why is Karatsev not sponsored yet?

Which companies are completely integrated: Racquet, Apparel, Shoes.
Off the top of my head.

Head, Wilson, and Prince.

Babolat has racquets and shoes but not an apparel player.
Adidas has shoes and apparel but not a racquet player.
Lacoste and Nike have apparel and shoes but not a racquet player.
Babolat has several ATP pros with racquet, shoes and apparel.

Yes, certainly no history of doping in Russian athletes state sponsored or otherwise. In fact, I call it "Clean Russia." Many recent succes stories shows Russians are just working hard!! Go Clean Karatsev, ya know because of his Clean ground strokes

This is true. All athletes from known state-sponsored doping countries, like Russia or Great Britain, are under a cloud of suspicion.

If Karatsev can maintain a Top 30 ranking until the end of the season he will make bank. How much bank is of course subject to negotiation. Sponsor will be more concerned over TV air time rather than his personality. An ATP Top 30 is obligated to play all the GS & Masters. He will be in the main draw of all tournaments with guaranteed air time for sponsors!

Do you think a brand like Hydrogen would be a perfect fit for Karatsev's impressive physique?

Physique wise, sure.

But I don't think I could see him wearing some of the Hydrogen styles which are generally quite bold.... I mean he had a choice to wear anything and chose brown shorts, think that says it all really :p.

Actually, they are kicking themselves as now they have to pay 5x what they could 18 months ago…
I believe his price was at its peak in the spring and has come since then. Had he reach the 4th round in NY, let alone if he'd beaten Djoko once more and ruined his dream, his position would be a lot better. An AO final in January will raise his net worth again considerably. At the moment there's no more fuzz around and about him.

Don't think so. 18 months ago none of us has heard of Karatsev. Today, everyone considers him a threat and he is well known. His price does not go up and down by a large amount after every loss....

Well yes, 18 months ago he was playing Challengers with shifting results and was hardly worth any endorsement deal. But what I meant was he would've gotten a deal after all the success last winter/spring but he and his team decided to wait and try to get an even better deal later this year. And considering how things have develop for him since late May, I'm pretty sure he might have gotten a better deal back then when the hype was there than now.

He has even made Roland Garros final and won Olympic Silver Medal after his golden runs. Not too bad!

I love his racquet choice, and I also do wonder what sponsorship options he may have. While he didnt come out of no where his play this year is without a doubt his best results. Just hope to see him make more main draws, and another long run at the AUS Open in 2022.

Just imagine Lion with a Pro Tour 2.0 cosmetic.
NOOOO PLEASEEEE!!! He is like the only genuine Prestige player that match the "Personality" of the racquet and actually seeing him being powerfull and versatile is great for the racquet. I really hope sometime soon we can see young marketing player using the Prestige (Something like Shapovalov) and being succesful with it since Cilic is the most bland player I can think of in terms of marketing for ANYTHING

Do people actually buy gear because it's endorsed by a no name baseline grinder with a WTA shovel backhand?

With his recent behaviour in press conferences, if he continues like that maybe some brand that has nothing to lose can sign him. Certainly not one of the big names, who wouldn't want such a bad publicity.

What about Benoit Paire who signed in the middle of the year with a company that had no background in tennis or sports clothing. Maybe he should reach out to him lol
