At the rate things are going, things seem to be a bit unknown - a bit in the dark.

Will the stars align for him again? Will the Universe restore its order?

Will they oh wise ones?

What order? The weak era order?

Felix the cat only has one mission this season and that is to take down the six-time Wimbledon champion.
:)
Lol he will decimate the field at Wimby tbh. No is really close to him in terms of playing on grass goes
Why have you forgotten about Rafael Nadal Parera, Mallorcan tennis player?

It has only been 3 days since his latest Grand Slam triumph.

Nadal is not a surety. If he plays then maybe we can have a fun match but I think Novak can outclutch Nadal on grass but it will not be one sided like on hard or clay

Stop panicking, Djoko fans!

He'll have 21 in less than 5 weeks.

And then his fans will resume the "How Many More Slams Will He Win?" threads yet again. "Will He Win 33 or 42 slams?"

But then after he loses another slam match at USO 22 or FO 23, it will be again "Why Can Novak No Longer Win A Slam?"

Recency Bias is a very silly way to think about tennis, or anything.

On paper he should but his level is certainly nothing to write home this past year. I don't think his level has looked that good since the French last year. The problem with Djoker now is he doesn't have that GOAT weapon like Nadal has with his Moonball topspin forehands into the 4th row and over the opponent's head.

I know he’s the overwhelming favorite, and deservedly so. But if you believe in fate, it seems like his destiny is to be shut out this year, based on the current trend.
It just feels like a situation where all the pressure will be on him.

Not that he is exactly one to shrink from the pressure. But there is a feeling of desperation heading into this one - he pretty much needs to win this.

All it takes is one off day. He is heavily serve-reliant at this stage in his career and on grass, the margins between 65% and 70% first serve can decide wins or losses.

He will be tested more than he was last year, that I am sure of.

It’s a lot easier to foresee him getting upset this year by a random tall hard-serving athlletic freak who goes into bot mode and steals a tiebreak or two than it was last year. His margin will be a lot slimmer.

You're doing your best to jinx him or so I noticed.

I think he's in a rut of bad luck. It's happening since last year. Needs to somehow get out of this vicious cycle.

Me a jinxer?

I am not a sorcerer.

If I were a magician, he wouldn't even have a tennis career, much less 20 slams.

You wish though. Jinxing is the highest ability you have as a human and even that is not guaranteed. Karma scale is always self adjusting.

I don't know, it will be tough to win 4th Wimbledon in a row. That would be a Federesque feat.

Currently he will probably be unable to compete in America due to being unvaccinated. Also, even if he plays, he's not a favorite there. USO is someone else to lose - Medvedev, Zverev, Tsitsipas, Alcaraz and Nadal are favorites before Djokovic there imo.

He's banned from AO23.

RG23 could actually be a slam he wins next.

He will probably, alongside Zverev, be a favorite for W23.

USO23 - same story as USO22.

2024 - too far.

My prediction - 2 more slams for Novak. Either it will be tie at 22 or Nadal will stay the one from the Big 3 with most Grand Slams won.

I hope he can at least surpass Federer. Nothing against him, I just want him to at least get a silver medal for a change. lol
