Worst match you've ever seen

I don't know about worst EVER. It'd probably be some womans match, that Halep-Wozniacki Aussie Final got ROUGH in the third set. Another that comes to mind when I think of stuff like this is the Nadal-Fognini US Open match until Fognini went nuclear at the tail end of the fifth.

I guess I've been lucky enough to escape a lot of really awful stuff :-D Monfils-Simon is almost always a chore to sit through.

Djokovic Simon AO 2015. Over 100 unforced errors from DJOKOVIC and he still won the match in five sets. Considering his opponent was Simon, you can imagine how bad this match was.

Many of the French Open finals with Rafa have been boring because the result has never been in doubt. That's not a criticism of Nadal, just stating facts. Both of the slam finals with Anderson were awful for the same reason: everyone knew Rafa would win the USO and that Nole would win Wimbledon when playing that guy. When you know the result of a match before it's played, it tends to be quite dull.

Um...what? Did you see that match, it was the highest-quality Murrovic matches ever. They've played some other grindfests like AO15 and USO12, but AO13 was a much more aggressive display from Murray.
I saw it. Rafa was just coming back from being sidelined with injury for 7 months and he decided not to play the AO because he didn't think his fitness was up to 7 rounds of BO5. Watching the match, I thought, Rafa had nothing to worry about.

Well, since Rafa has actually played both Murray and Djokovic, he knows better than you what they are capable of.

It was 2016, and he hit all those 'unforced' errors because Gilles Simon is a GENIUS who drew them out of him. If only he had some weapon with which to finish him off and complete his masterplan. You have to be able to appreciate Gilles (the G is for GENIUS) to appreciate the match.

Helena Sukova d. Lori McNeill in Princeton 6-0, 6-3. Lori won 6 points in the first set. Even if I had played Helena I would have won 0 points but I was not a professional athlete.
