I'm sure some of you were paying attention, but for those who weren't there were some major upsets in doubles today coming from a few young americans
Max Mirnyi BLR (1), Daniel Nestor CAN (1) lose to Steve Johnson USA, Jack Sock USA
1-6 7-6 6-2
Mariusz Fyrstenberg POL (4), Marcin Matkowski POL (4) lose to Christian Harrison USA, Ryan Harrison USA
7-6 2-6 7-6
Michael Llodra FRA (7), Nenad Zimonjic SRB (7) lose to Nicholas Monroe USA (okay so admittedly he's 30), Donald Young USA
5-7 6-3 6-4
Besides them, Brian Baker and Rajeev Ram beat Martin Emmrich and Igor Sijsling 2-6 6-1 7-6, Santiago Gonzalez (MEX) and Scott Lipsky (USA) beat Robin Haase and Andreas Seppi 6-2 6-3, and Eric Butorac (USA) and Paul Hanley (AUS) beat Jan Hajek and Lukas Lacko 7-5 6-3
So, not a single american has lost in mens doubles yet.
